I'm with you on the fluoros mate. I'm using them for all early stages and even tried to flower with them and they are still very good at it, takes a bit longer to finish though.
Looking good bonecarver! Excellent macros! Pretty weird mutation, its like the plant lost track of its growing point.... What the heck was in that mite bomb?
nice looking plants....hope your moms will go OK next time......
I have had problems with the mites over a year till i got the new weapon....
I've tried almost everything availlable. but after 2 Weeks they were still there....
Then I got the new product from Dr.Stähler called "Kanemite SC" . It's a new Akarizid, wich kills all Mites, even the ones with resistance to other products....After 4 Weeks nothing of this is left on the plants. It's also used for fruits and veggies......
dreamMaster - sure man - cant beat the fluoro for a lot of things
pipeline - the mutacion started before the mite bombs - hehe - but the mite bombs were only normal plant-insecticide sprays for indoor use - i grabbed 2 kinds (2 each) - and just stabbed a hole in them and left them in the bottom of the grow space spraying upwards - aimed generally at the underside of the leafs and braches of the plants.
im soon going in there to check.. im a bit scetchy though hehe i cant find my gasmask.. hehe
holygong - hey man hows things ?
hazeventura - sounds really interesting this product! i definetly wish they had it in the grow shops here! im going to get in touch with you for sure
the strain is Cheese/Trainwreck x PTK - since ptk was a male and Laides go allways first hehe
im so stoked to see how its going with them all babies - please you all post me some pics here!
and hazeV - those nugs look delicious that blueish tone on the bubbelgum is neat
in a few days im going to see if i can start experimenting with inserts and grafting on the strange but very lush ssh x ptk oddity.
after summer we have been seeing a cat around at the workshop - a grey/beige blue eyed thing, and a few times we put out a bit of food for it, but suddenly it stopped coming - a couple of days later we found the poor cat dead - we could see she have had kittens recently, but there was none to see around. we burried the poor thing and continued with life.
on monday (about 2 weeks and a bit more since the dead cat) i was just checking for something in a corner of the workshop and i saw something i first thought was bunies or something - but a closer looks showed it was 2 tiny kittens - very scared, dirty and very very alone - and not top even mention how hungry they were when we finally could catch them.
since the mom was dead we though we at first just give food to the little ones - but after taking care of them for a week and now we can touch them and cuddle them a bit without them getting scared - we decided to adopt them. they would not have survived on their own - there just isnt any food for them - and on top the place is full of rat poison - and thats what we think killed the cat mum.
anyway its a tiny boy and a girl, both exactly the same look and pattern. only difference is the little lady got a bit more softer and thicker fur. we named them beayty and the beast jsut for fun since the girl is very nice and easy to do with while the tiny male is still hissing and showing his teeth - even though he doesnt bite nor scratch.
they are incredible cool. really got fond of them quick little hairballs dont do much more than eat and sleep and take dumps hillarious critters.
guess they had time to get a bit starved before we started feeding them but they are allready getting fatter
also id like to ad it seems this time i killed most adult spidermites. he combo worked im still going to spray once again in a few days - just gonna give enough time for the eggs that might be viable to hatch - and then finally get rid of them for once. after taht i will give the plants a a few rounds of pure water every now and then - just got to wash out the sprayer container first..
all in all i can add it looks like some cascadias arent too customed to high nutes - so i dropped it back now to 25 - wich should be enough anyway. also i think its a good time right about now to do a propper flush - wich will be next watering.
right now the buds are starting to take shape..
the cascadias are enormous - but i dont feel like cutting away any branches - since even the lowest branches will definetly get potent enough - remember this is the knockout pheno - in BHO its going to be very very interesting..
also got to say the mozambique looks like its going to give a few nice buds, also i think the LDS and one lovepotion got very nteresting look too - with jsut a few big tips. very different to the cascadias taht are going to be very many smaller buds..
well its all looking very good for the moment even though there is a bit of salt/nute burn showing - its just a sign to start cuttinng down and to flush
also i just this week swapped from nitric acid to phosphoric acid to the flowering ones -and from now one the moms are going to get a separate batch of nutes.
also dropped the nute PH of the flowering plants to 5.6 so more fosforous gets picked up
Cool little kittens! I don't blame ya for keeping them! I've got a cat and he's awesome to have around!
Glad to hear you've pretty much got the spidermites under control! It sounds like you've got your fertilization regimen figured out too! Good idea lowering pH for increased P availability.... every little bit counts...
