i prepared the transplant of the moms that im going to try to save. i prepared 12 liter pots for them with nice fluffy fresh coco, and next watering i will give Rootjuice to hopefully boost the root growth a bit.

also for later on today i got planned to take clones of all other moms that have some live tips - its a bit risky because if there is pythium inside the stems it will definetly reproduce in the cloner. but its something i got to do - have to give it a shot.

gotto get working...

peace all

hi there brother Bonecarver and the rest of you guys!
those were some really nice pictures, also the ones you sent me were great, nice cliffs! was it sand stone or lime stone or what?

i didnt think that you had any nice forests around there anymore, it was awsome to see that i was wrong, now its even more tempting to move over there!

just visited my plants today and they are doing good, deffinetly two weeks into blooming now!

lets hope it goes well!

hey good luck with the cloning of the mothers and too bad that a few died, but what the heck, its not like the seeds dont grow on trees, one can allway plant more!

good luck man!
peace to all of you!

:) that area is about a few hours drive in car from here :) its a big nature reserve :) i was very surprised too :D but yes there is forest left in south spain still :D

the geology - Karst
the rock here is limestone and gypsym based :D the rain water makes the cool shapes because of the carbon dioxide in the rainwater, makes the south east of spain look like a gruyer-cheese - literally full of caves, hollows and interesting rockformations. also this is the reason here there is very little water on top of the soil - the water tends to flow under neath us in subteranean rivers, however its illegal to drill wells - not to affect the ecosystem too much.

this geology also makes the few waterholes that are around more sensitive for several reasons. since they usually are pockets of more solid rock that helps keep the water, and many have allready disapeared because of road and buildings around them have affected the flow of water.

one of the caves i was around is more than 40 km long.. the most interesting part is the cave is a start of one of the biggest rivers of the south spain - and its located on a rockwall about 200 meters tall, and about in the midle of it there is a cave - about 16 x 25 m big opening (and 40 km + of galleries etc) and the opening is about 80 meters up on the wall, and the only trail there goes along a 40 cm wide ledge with many small climbs. definetly sounds like fun!

gonna practise a bit - and hopefully next summer ill be in there :D :D

peace bro :D

the most potent pheno of cascadia is vegging nicelly :D its really good news :D

most plants put to veg are ok, just waiting to see some recuperation from the spidermite attack they were under. i sprayed them last week, and will repeat in about one more week, when the eggs that are left hach, and the new generation of spidermites are developing..

also im glad a few smal clones i had that i thought were not going to make it, finally HAVE started vegging again..

also i think part of the work is done by the lower temps we are having now ( its still far from ideal) but never the less - its going in the right direction.

peace all :D

i went ahead and sprayed the plants..

hope in one weeks time there will be no more living spidermites...

the invasion was a bit bigger than i thought, and the LP moms i have was under serious attack, i transplanted it and sprayed it, and hope its going to get going.

peace all

Looks like you found a great outdoor growspot up there on the ledge BC, just rig a fews death traps for those trying access it.

Please save the Love Potion from the evil mites... because I want it :D.

hehe :D the only bad part with that ledge is there is a guided tour every day of speleologists climbing up there every day :( but if not it would be perfect hehe :D its a river coming out of that cave :D so wouldnt need to go far to get water ;) hehe

im doing my best to save all moms i got left :D

the LP is nice, but the cascadia pheno kicks its butt by far! :D not that the LP is bad! not at all! - more the cascadia beeing a extreme pheno! - hehe you want that one too - im sure! :D

in a few days im going to do a re-count of the ones that are going nicelly :D

peace!
