it is partially bho, and partially older jelly hash of bho/moroc, and also a whole lot of quick wash with acethone. the pile of the kief is the last adition to it.
the oil mix goes dark with the adition of kief and heat mixing. it doesnt affect it badly, rather makes it more hashy imho im going for that good old charras kinda goo. u know, just like barelly manageable playdoohish kinda consitency.
also rigth now i got a pile more of buds to use for bho asap.
anyway i think the mix can use some more kief also, so im going to dry seive some more trim i got piled up, as soon as i feel its dry enough.
acethone oil was made with well cured buds of about 2-3 months to 6 month old nugs. i think it all contributed to the dark colour.
this is the jelly hash when mixed and frozen. i allways keep it in the freezer. seems to keep almost forever like that...
its still in most part oil and bho, and to get it to normal hash consistency would propably take double the weigth of the lump i got now. but to get 100g of premium drysift is a hella job. i drysift by hand, and nugs are too hard to give anything almost, and using only trim im limited to the trim i got. sometimes im tempted to grow some more fluffy sativa dominant herb so i can hash it nicelly.
also im considering to maybe use cured nugs at some moment for making icehash, but im sure a lot would go to waste. its so dificult to get solid nugs to drop their resin without complettelly trashing them with a paint mixer or similar. this greatly reduces quality, since i dont have good ice hash bags.
here the airhumidity sticks onto the cold nugs the second i take them out of the freezer. its pointless to freeze nugs here to drysieve. thanks to the humidity, really dry trim goes well to drysieve, without the leafs breaking to powder etc.
actually i can give for example a cold beer from the fridge leaves a puddle on the table, just from the condesantion, in a question of seconds. we have humidity from 60 to 90% most of the year. only during sunny summer afternoons, the air humidity goes down below 40%. but it is jsut for a few hours.
this is pretty much sub tropical climate. as close as u can get to it on mainland europe.
i put the drysieving material in a room with a dehumifier and i think in a few days i can propably give it a proper drysieve its getting nice and crisp. i also got some other drysieving material for an other session later on, but that i might let wait for an other few weeks. i like to let the trim pile up a bit..
the drysieving material in the dehumidifaction room was perfect today for drysieving. adn i got actually an unsuspectedly big amount of drysieve. i pressed it into a lump and took a pic. ill upload it soon. this time i think i might not mix it into the jelly hash, since its awesome as it is. its all ssh/ptk x beeniemans topkolas. very nice hash,....
got a few plants finishing off in the flowering.. but i allways do the only thing im not too happy about is the fact i planted a bunch of seeds in recycled coco, and many of them have died. i got lots of seeds, and there is many seedlings enough for mee, but still its a bummer.
well, maybe like this i get space to make some clones at last...
damn.. i wanted to take pics of this last plant i harvested today, but stoned as i am i forgot to take pics before cutting it down.... typical... its becoming a habit to forget to take pics..
well i gotto get trimming.. ill take a pic of the trimmed nugs/kolas..
.. traded some nug for an other 600W HPS .. it was messy to put it into the deep end of the flowering area, without taking out any plants. luckilly the plants are big so i could crawl around
i expect to take it out during the summer months to keep temps lower, and maybe have it in the veg area instead during those months,.,
... picking out SSH/PTK x beeniemans choise F2 seeds from select nugs... got about 100 allready it means this autumn or this summer i will plant of it allready. i got a few more of first generation to flower out still, but anyway i do plan to grow out the first generation to every single last seed, while i continue selecting males and females.. slow, but it keeps me buzy
in the veg area i i need to sort out some lights soon.. need to replace a whole lot of tubes and etc.
