tokesome - i had a look but i cant think of anything different to earlier to do. best of luck mate! :D

Hey Bones, lol, that`s as reassuring as I could hope for:biggrin:

Sure wish I was in a position to look after a couple of those moms you`re thinking of outing:biggrin:. Someone said they could get a good pheno of the Armageden strain so I said yeah, get me half a dozen rooted cuttings. . . . Well I`ve never seen such sorry looking clones in all my life, deficiencies and all purple in the stems etc., really neglected by the looks of it, in fact totally abused. Hopefully with some TLC I`ll get 4 of them in some sort of condition, the other 2 I`m just not sure about at all. My mate was just doing a favour in sourcing and getting them for me and doesn`t know much about it so I just had to bite my lip and say very little. The cowboy attitude in this field of work is f*****g crap though, you cant imagine going into a garden center and buying plants in such shitty condition, but as its a black market people can be as sloppy as they like, there`s no come back. At least I dont have to buy weed off these jokers! Oops, sorry I was ranting there!

Cheers, and thanks again Bones, Toke:biggrin:

Hey, gretings from Malaga.
Great OP, BC & mate
We have some of that DCxuzbeka currently entering flower; we kept an INCREDIBLE male, too.. A friend grower from here is making a nice job stabilizing it; he has a thread in other forum but I dunno if is OK to post links from other places here...
I will try to upload a photo of the male.
Changing hydroton for coco right now; I'v e read all your thread hehe (2x400w,drippers,recirculating, GHE way).
Wish me luck.

I`ve done a search of your thread here guys for PK13/14, but nothing showed up. Is it something you use and if so what schedule and dosage do you recommend?

Thanks, Toke ;-)

:D

there is many ways of using PK 13-14. :D i tend to not use the recomended dosages.

i use only canna pk13-14, and i give it at 10% to 75% strength at intevals during flowering. as long as a plant is produving flowers it needs nutes for it :D so i tend to give it for many weeks, but i never start before the bud tips are bigger than a little finger tip. i think plants can even get damaged from recieving PK too early in flowering. in too high of a dose it can be devastating.

i flush my plants a lot and i dont let any build up get even a posibility to happen, this also helps for keeping feeding the plant flowering nutes for longer time. i flush out about 50% of water or MORE each watering.

i can add i use PANELA - wich is crystalized sugar cane juice. its very pure and not refined in any way at all. its only cane sugar evaporated untill its caramelized and cristalize. its edible and tasty :D

i give about 5-10 g of panela per 50L of nute water for flowering plants (together with PK 13-14). panela is in big part complex sugars with a lot of vitamines and minerals. it is concentrated sugarcane sap. nothing else.

PANELA is a typical southamerican product. check the link in my sig for info.

i know many organic flowering boosters are made with fermented molasses and
sugarcane... ;)

i think the panela or molasses is AS IMPORTANT as the rigth doses of PK to produce max resin, yield and flavour, without compromise :D

i forgot to mention the jelly hash we made the other day. the weed we hit with sticks rigth after taking the bags out of the freezer. first squeezing out the air of course :D

well finally it showed the 90u screen is ma bit fine and some of the bigger trichs didnt get thru, but on the other hand we got 15 grams of a very nice fine kif we mixed with a few grams of BHO that had turned into budder. sometimes it does it during evaporation... anyway the hash looks funny but smokes very well :D

we were 3 guys hitting the material with oak sticks :D the screen is big enough for big sessions :D it was fun :D

----------

the last few days i ahve been putting more plants into flower. now today i put in 4 more, so now all in all its about 30 plants in flowering. all of them properlly pistolwhipped, with all lower branches cut of and all lower shoots of the upper most branches cleaned off.. im in for only top kolas this time for sure. :D

soon enough i get space again to plant a bunch of seeds and take clones :D

i cant wait to cut clones of the ssh/ptk x ssh/lp and the jaggen x ssh/ptk/ptk and flower the BIG revegged bushes. i think the jaggen x ssh/ptk/ptk is propaly the most vigorous plant i have ever had. in a few months it has grown something incredibly, from a revegged stump to a huge bush taking up about 1x1 meter, this pheno is a monster for sure, and its a pitty the 2nd pheno for revegging has not got going yet.

the amount of branches is rediculous on the jaggen/ssh/ptk/ptk, and its only growing under 150W. this revegged plant might end up yielding record amounts. ... and its till in SAME 12 liter pot it got flowered in several months ago. it has NOT been transplanted yet :D and it DOESNT look like its suffering AT ALL. so later when i transplant it to a 40 liter pot before flowering, it will make for a huge BUSH-ZILLA and most likelly it will be the biggest plant i have flowered indoors ever.

im looking forward to a buzy start of the year :D but its all good. enjoying every minute of it :D

peace all!

Heh heh, I envy and admire you mate. . . . dedication!!

When you say you flush 50% water out every feed, do you mean flushing through with your usual nutrient mix?

Do you plain water flush at all?

I flush a reasonable amount of feed through but as yet haven`t flushed with plain water. I do keep a check on the run off from each plant to make sure no big shifts are taking place, though I know this isn`t a very accurate way of testing the coco`s ec/ph values, but I`m hoping it would at least give me a tip if somethings going out of kilter.

I`ve heard a lot about molasses and sugar cane, how do you actually apply it Bones, mixing with warm water? I`m keen to use some of this.

Cheers, Toke

Hi BC,
If anybody "local" is interested-
The LIDL supermarkets have panela in their discount bins right now quite cheap. I didn't know about using it for a supplement. I use it for cooking Thai food.
Now this following is a serious question and not a joke.
What do you think about using Orange Aquarius? I'll grant you that it has some salt in it, but the ingredients list looks pretty intriguing.
Water, sugar, citric acid, sodium citrate,
sodium chloride (I know, I know), potassium phosphate,
calcium phosphate, ascorbic acid, a couple of E numbers, artificial flavours and colour. I don't know what I'm letting myself in for posting something as crazy as this, but there you go.
Go ahead. Fire away.

aquairus got salt in it :D i wouldnt use it man :D hehe

panela is cheap good and natural and salt-free :D

i break the panela chunk wiht a hammer.. hehe yeah man :D and then i put a piece of about 5-10g in a cup with some water and i boil it for several minutes in the microwave oven untill it is disolved. then i ad that cup to my rez for flowering :D as simple as that :D

i almost dont plain water flush at all :D maybe a few waterings before harvest maybe, but most of the time i dont even think that is necesary.

i work with low EC's and there is not really much to flush out in the end of flowering..

:D

peace man!

Hey BC,
Um, exactly how low are your EC´s usually?

B

bonecarver_OG

starting with water ec 0.3

veg - 1.1 - 1.2 - for all small and big

flowering - stretch - 1.2 - 1.4
when using pk 13-14 i add nutes untill ec 1.0 - 1.1 and add PK untill i get 1.3-1.4

from mid flowering on i give about 1.0 to 1.2

Sorry Bones, just one more question re the added sugars, are they added around the same timing as PK13/14?

When you mention Panela and fermented molasses, do you mean some of each or does either one have the required sugars/riboflavin.

You Panela link is cool and helpful, thanks mate:biggrin:

the chronic in the flowering room is a very impressive cut. its a really big producer of very dense looking buds, and its still a while for them left to go.

im really looking forward to them :D looks like a keeper :D

the Power plant cut has a very very stinky stem :D seems intersting this far :D hehe its just ben flowering for a fwe days :D so nothing to coment yet...

the cripple berries are looking good, very resinous, and tiny gem looking tight nugs. im sure its going to be a killer smoke. also it looks like the trim is going to give a substancial amount of BHO. the leafs are all resinous :D

i got one really BIG ssh/ptk x ssh/lp in flowering. i think its the last one of the lot. this one is very vigorous and this far its looking promising. this far not any of the seeds of this cross has disapointed us.

tokesome - panela is more nutritive than molasses.

yeah i start giving the panela at about same time as PK 13-14.

usually from the 3-4 week on wards. once or twice a week depending on vigour of plants. really vigorous plants seem to be able to handle more of it than slow flowering small producers.

peace :D

You are a star mate, a very shiney one at that, thanks, I`ll get onto that one asap.

Wow the descriptions of what you got going on there sounds sooooo good, makes my lungs almost collapse just thinking about ploughing through some of the fineries you have!

All the best, Toke

i just read an old message i got from my friend haze ventura, and i realize i can give much higher dose of nutes to the chronics in flowering. the bad part is i have run out of pk 13-14 for the moment, but since the chronics still got lots to go i will give em more PK asap and also i read the chronics like high nute levels - up to ec 2.0, so i will look into how they behave with stronger nutes and some more PK.

at the moment i have been feeding the chronics with an ec of 1.2 to 1.4 with great results, but if she wants even more nutes i will give it to her and see how it goes :D

peace :D

i went down to water last thing before the light went out. i took the oportunity to start puttin upp the nute dose on the chronics :D i gave them now about 1.5 and next watering i will give them even more :D

also i pretty much flooded the flowering area and spent about one hour mopping.. while the pots drained.. i forgot to empty the waste water collecting trays..

all fun :D

peace!

B

i cut 2 smaller SSH/PTK's yesterday and i spread out the remaining 28 plants or so a tiny bit more..

im noticing the cripple berry is doing an effort to fatten up before getting done :D its a late starter but its looking better by the day. very resinous. you can see the kush in her very well. it reminds me a lot of PTK and DC etc in looks.

the chronics are still fattening up :D they look like champion producers.... i have been watering them with ec 1.5 to 1.6 the last days..
