I'm writing to you on your online space because your sales department does not answer my questions and you lately neither. You may have a computer problem. So I do not know where to write and hope you'll answer me.



You have a reputation as a good breeder on some varieties. Your seeds are among the most expensive too. Now my experience of customer is that your sales department is not great. You can ask Alchi ..., Seedsm .., San..., I made about twenty orders from them for 20 times what I bought you and never claim.



So my little problems with you :
- I ordered seeds for 100 euros and waited for 38 days instead of 15. Nobody knows where it is. Your carrier has not seen my mailbox and did not deliver the package.

- the package is lost for a month and you don't know when it arrive to you

- your sales department says it's not his fault and it's not in his hands. He tells me to wait for the parcel to come back, whereas for a month he does not know where he is, and how he is stored, or when he arrives at your place to send me another time. And this is your problem not mine to have to wait.

- I tell him that I refuse stored seeds I do not know where for a month. Each seed costs 10 euros (which is not nothing) and to be reimbursed if they do not germinate it's more complicated while there, we see that it's not my fault. If you are so confident about the germination of your seeds, you could very well send me seeds instead of losing me a month of growth, and still try to sell them. I asked you and as we can see below in the history of mails (if you need I show the emails) you have neither responded to my request, nor explained if you don't agree and why. You just have not answered three times

- on the other hand, the same day when I used my professional email to ask you for information to buy seeds you answered

- finally, I lost a month of growth as already said. I am an individual but even on my scale the loss is huge.




History of mails:
- Oct 29: ordered and paid

- Oct 30: sent from you

- Nov. 7: I inform you of the error of the postman.

- Nov 7: you answer that you will tell me when the parcel will come back (there already you knew that the seeds would take three weeks of travel and not 15. It's not what I bought you. you should have sent new seeds at this date)

- Nov. 15: I ask for news of the seeds and what will happen if they do not germinate since poorly stored longer than what was sold.

- Nov. 15: You say it's weird and wait a week otherwise you will make a claim. No answer to the interesting question about non-germination in case of bad storage or when the deadline is exceeded (all this has been avoided)

- Nov. 15: I tell you that the seeds are poorly stored for 15 days and they will take 15 days more. I ask you to send me new seeds or give me back my money. Here it is summary but I was very cool. There are some who would have spoken poorly but I did the opposite in fact. I was cool to be cool with me.

- Nov. 17: they were wrong. This time he tells me to wait until Nov 30 and not Nov 22 as stated in the mail of 15. No answer to my questions either. I call it avoid and disrespect because my money you had it in your pockets for 18 days.

- Nov. 17: I write that I do not agree to wait until they arrive at the end of the month at home. To take one to two more weeks that would take them from 5 to 6 weeks at your carrier. I asked again for new seeds or my money. Keep up with your carrier and your old seeds, if you are so confident that you want to sell them to me.

- Nov 18: You answer that you are responsible for your mail in Spain but not in France. That if the problem happens in France you do not pay back. You have to wait until Nov 30 to ask the carrier and you will send me new seeds. So if it had been in Spain you would have sent me seeds? Why wait if you send me new seeds? To actually send me old ones? It stinks of the lie your thing!
Moreover it is not written in the conditions of sale otherwise I would not have bought them to you but to other resellers, who offer more guarantees like Alchim.. (I printed your conditions of sale on the date of sale if you want them)

- Nov. 18: I write that it is your carrier and your responsibility. Seeds 6 weeks out instead of 2 it's no. I get angry and say for the second time that if you do not give me my money or send me new seeds I will file a complaint. NO ANSWER AGAIN. Yet on November 19 you answer for an email that wants to buy you seeds.

- Nov 21: I show you your terms of sale and shows you that you break your own rules. The same that led me to buy you seeds. NO ANSWER TO.

- Dec 2: I'm writing to see if you have any news

- Dec 2 : no news because you tell me "it looks like the package comes home" I know it since a month

- Dec 2: I explain that seeds that will take six weeks of travel instead of 2 I do not want. I ask you for the third time, new seeds or my money, as well as seeds to make up for the month late. Still no answer. So it's been three times that I can not get my money back and I have no answer. True or false Dubi?




Now you Dubi in private message on ICMag:
- 24 nov: I come to see you discreetly and explain the situation. I ask you what you think and if you could do something. NO ANSWER

- 2 dec: I write you with the title "you have not answered me" and why?

- Dec 2: You tell me that your team has already answered me in a short frase. Far from the nice comments that you usually write and very far from the answers to my questions. Same thing, you have avoided answering my questions look at your emails.

- 2 dec: I explain to you that your team responds oddly and is wrong in the commands and asks you to watch. I say it's a shame not to answer like that and play with the money already cashed like that for a month. No answer either as if I tell you that there are errors in your sales department.




So for the fifth time, for a month:
- why wait for the return of your old seeds to send me new ones as you want to make me believe ?
- if not give me my money, new seeds, or better explanations, than to say that it is not your responsibility because I am in France and not in Spain
- for lost time I want seed compensation because I have lost half the time growing and I need double the amount of plants. Moreover also a bonus, for the double of the material and the double of the risk that I will have to assume would be welcome. I call it damages for the sole reason of not having answered three times when I ask you to pay me back (I call it take my monney in hostage without explanations during a month) or not to leave me in shit because of your carrier.
What do you think Dubi?

Your experience with Ace is unusual. I’ve always enjoyed excellent service from the company, and as communication goes they’ve always been prompt with me, even initiating communication on an order when my payment was slow to arrive through the mail.

Did you send money, as opposed to using a payment card?
Spanish law does not allow paper money (including checks and money orders) into the country. Most gets through just fine, but Spanish Customs can seize money going into the country, and I suppose they do from time to time.
I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s the case in your situation.

Ordering seeds online carries some risk that they won’t arrive. Just the way it is.

Sounds to me like you want ACE to give away seeds because of post office mistakes.... don’t blame ya for being upset really.. ACE makes good seed and has a great rep. Probably why YOU chose THEM. And in fact for the level of quality ACE is very affordable. Similar quality seed is often 15-20$ per seed at other companies.
Did you pay for a tracking option? That money is worth it if you feel like you HAVE to know where your seeds are.
I also have missed out on growing time because of problems with getting payment through and then postal stuff.
It was my fault. Business takes time and people who expect it to move just for them will be disappointed.

Don’t blame ACE for the rest of the worlds problems.
And recognize that EVERYBODY ordering seed through the Internet takes the saaame risks.
Seeds are fine for years after harvest. Your complaining about a paper Tiger if you think ACE is at fault for seeds being improperly stored.. you need to take that up with your mail service.

When I feel worried about a package I buy insurance and get it tracked.
I hope you manage to work it out... being demanding rarely helps in screwy situations. Patience is key... if you run out so will the people your talking to.

And FYI I’ve noticed Dubi is often too busy to dick around on the net at this time of year... the man works and has a family. He probably has zero desire to deal with customer relations right now... after all he’s the breeder. Not the PR guy.
Ha! Can tell I haven’t had a joint yet. Feeling terse.
Just put yourself in their shoes man ACE isn’t some huge rich corporation that can afford to send seed Willy nilly all over Europe and the world because people make complaints and demands.
If they can figure out what happened and why I’m sure they’ll try to help.
People TELLING them their business instead of HANDLING their own probably get put at the bottom of their list of people they want to help.

I’m in the damn Yukon and managed a wonderful working relationship with ACE through careful communication, manners and PATIENCE.
Not to mention fairness.
They never once let me down. Many others have said the same.

Maybe I’m coming off as a jerk or fanboy or something but I keep noticing impatient demanding people posting about ACE just to eat their words a month later when reality catches up to their dreams and they realize they were not being fair.
Usually after ACE has found time to help them as promised.

Patience. Clarity. Manners.

This really does not seem like an Ace problem. Personally, i have had no problems with Ace, and their service and responsiveness has been the best of all companies i purchase seeds from. We all take our chances with the postal service.

Yeah what everyone else said. Sounds like your problem started by sending cash without paying for tracking. Not the smartest thing in the world. And then it seems like you were trying to get Ace to send you free seeds to fix a problem that wasn't theirs. They've done some awesome things before, they frequently go above and beyond, but they are certainly under no obligation to do so, and I suspect your "tone" in those communications removed any motivation they might have otherwise had to help you out.

You might try sending them an email or private message that starts with, "Dear Ace Seeds, please accept my apologies for my previous messages to you, I was just very frustrated. Allow me to start over from the top..."

Or something to that effect.

I will answer for you all

So I :
- paid by credit card not cash and with orders at 100 euros you have free tracking number
- don't do this for seeds. As I said Ace seeds can ask to other sellers. I bought 20 more time than this and never claim.
But now I ask for seeds because they didn't answer at my questions 5 times in a month and as I said, I have mails to prove it. It's a question of respect and time last in a grow and risks to assume because I have to put more plants
- just blame Ace seeds because :
- they didn't answer 5 times since a month and make me last a month
- purpose me to send new seeds when old seeds arrive. Why not now ? I'm lasting time


Your good experiences are normal. That's why Ace seeds is well known. But what do they do with my mails when their carrier have problems with my order ? 5 times without answers since weeks

When I said I show you all the mails I didn't asked you to trust me but the proofs.

They might be busy but why :
- they answer when I ask for seeds whith other mail adress
- they answer when I put it in public (they answered me yet about this thread)
- they connect and answer the others that have no problems in their threads
- I am waiting for 5 answeres from them since a month and I have a big problem ?

That's part of the problem right there. You declined tracking, and that is a bad idea. In this circumstance, the bad idea immediately came back to bite you. Why would you decline the one way that the merchant has of knowing what happened to your seeds?

I'm just going to go out on a limb here and presume that this is factoring in to how people respond to you. I can see that you are located in France, so I assume English isn't your first language. Further evidence of that is the fact that you are NOT being as clear as you think you are being in your communications. You are using broken English. I love people who speak multiple languages, but let's be honest, unless you are fluent in them, you probably aren't communicating as well as you would like to be. So, as one of the people who tried really hard to understand your initial posts, I think I did a good job of trying to read between the lines, and I'm guessing that others did as well. But it was necessary to read between the lines because you weren't using perfect English. Something must have been lost in translation.

Your second message is to say I decline tracking number. Where do you see that ? I said it's free so I had one

No, it's your English. I just went back and tried reading everything you've typed in this thread, and you are not being as clear as you think you are. So let's start from the beginning, here:

You bought a package of seeds in the normal way that everyone else buys them. The package didn't show up in a timely manner, so you contacted Ace to track the package. At this point they told you that they tracked it and that it was not in fact lost? Is that what happened? Because if that's not what happened, then your story is already off to a bad start.

Yes the good news is Dubi answered me today to propose send new seeds.


It show I'm not crazy and had to put in public to have answers. And today they go quick.


Normally nobody hear about me.


Now we are talking about gifts, because they didn't answer me during a month 5 times and when they answered, it was far from the question asked.

If it's me the problem I will have to assume and understand it.
