Pressure tanks and water pumps.

Hey Everyone,

Do you have any suggestions for plumbing water from a RO tank to use with nutrient injectors? I am currently using this pump https://www.lowes.com/pd/Utilitech-1-HP-Stainless-Steel-Lawn-Pump/4128040 The pump works good, but is real loud. I needed something with high pressure so that it could power the dosatron injectors. I tried using a normal submersible pump with high gallons per minute but it didn't have enough pressure to power the injector pistons.

The problem is when I want to use the water, I have to plug in the pump then unplug when I want it to stop. I'd like to have it so if i want to fill a bucket or use the hose it will only turn on when i open the faucet or hose valve then shut off when the valve is closed.

I know in a normal house with a well, they use a pressure tank with a switch and a pump start relay to start the well pump.

Can anyone recommend a simple way to do this, or a good pump for this type of thing? I am not using a ton of water only using like 50gal a day, using 1" and 3/4" pipe.

Thanks

Just curious- what pressure exactly do the dosatrons need to operate? I believe your standard pressure tank is around 40psi and you can buy them in all types of volumes so you can use your 50 gallons without kicking on your well pump. Why not just buy a pressure tank that fits your demand, the big ones are like $5-600, and if you already bought dosers doesn't seem like your afraid to spend too much money.
