Preserving the Oldtimes

Oldtimes.

8 seeds germing ..two sprouted over night

Enjoy them bro.

I think like GoldenSyrup said, who knew Oldtimer1 personally, that the most pyschoactive ones are the green ones.

I got a green cheesey anise, rotting manure smelling one that is just great, smiley and rushy and very up in the F2s of Oldtimes.

I'm gonna keep 3 as mothers. I only wanted to keep one, number 2, aptly named as it smells a bit fecal but i was puffin on number 4 the other day and i had to stop as the wall started to move but that one is less smiley.

There is also the blueberry ones, number 6 i will keep too as it has nice rushy smile to it, but actually tastes nice, like blueberries. The stronger green ones all tend to taste sour and bitter, not the best taste to compliment such really great highs.

So far on every single one i've tried, green or purple there is zero edge, anxiety or bad feelings, in fact they serve extremely well as an antidepressive with very pleasant hallucinatory side effect :giggle:

It can catch you off guard

I will be sampling number 3 and 5 Oldtimes today. Green and purple. Check i haven't missed anything.

Wanting to keep 3 out of 6 of any strain is quite unusual for me.

I can already feel they are getting trippier as with the curing ohaze
seems like the cure/aging may have to do with causing/creating the trippieness. @Tangwena says the same effect occurs when aging his Malawi Cobs (or maybe any cobs). IMO the cure is transforming the THCa to pure THC, before we even ingest it. not sure...

by the cola size and proximity to each other you appear to be a VERY talented grower

That's very nice to say @Rgd. I appreciate it, especially from such a great grower as yourself.

They really do grow themselves, huge and very quickly. Some real nice breeding and attention to detail went into the strain that OT1 created.

You can see some really nice diversity popping up in the f2s

They were flowering for quite a while in tiny pots before i up potted them so i think that minimised any stretch but the Oldtimes, as you will see, grows large columnar buds all the way up the stem and has tiny internodal space :giggle:

Hey @Loriented

They are quite trippy from the get go bro :giggle:

But something extra definitely seems to happen during the cure with the Oldtimes. If you can wait till 6 month cure something quite extraordinary seems to happen and it gets extremely trippy. Like taking 20 shrooms kind of trippy. I thought about cobbing it and putting it into the yoghurt maker but it was all a bit of a rush cutting it down, maybe next time i will try to cob it as i thikn it may speed up the enhancement in trippiness :)

I've thought about whether it can be decarbing going on but i think it has to be more than just that. Dunno what though. In my opinion it cant be from just the decarb, cant be from antagonistic terpenes degrading, it has to be some sort of chemical reaction occurring that as yet no one understands.

Smoked number 3 (actualy number 5) shown below all day and although it is a nice day brightener smoke it is not as strong as number 2 and number 4 which are memorable smokes with rushes, uncontrollable smiles, laughter and trippiness.
