Terp evaporation temperatures might be published in vape sites. The most volatile are away at 21c/70f while the bulk of the flavour is leaving in the high 30s/100f. Some such as lemon hang on though. I'm guessing equatorial flavours will hold on the longest, because of natural selection. Most of us think we got everything we could want from weed grown around 25/77 and might think 21/70 weed tastes funny.

Experience says you won't find it funny. You literally won't recognize your own favorite cut in the bag. I've never had anyone find the supremely rich experience of their own cut flowered cool/dry, to be weird or off in any way. lol :)

There's something about preserving those more fragile terpenes, all the way through flowering, which has a greater impact on the end flower. In combination with the extremely low 'burnt plant' flavors/aromas which come along with it, it's an experience to be cherished and shared.

Aside from transpiration issues, do you feel there is a "too dry" environment for trichome production/terp retention? I shouldnt have any issues holding the temperature around 21c, but I'll have no control over the humidity. I think I'm sitting in the 20s outside the tent. Once I'm flowering and the extraction fan is running, the only humidity added will be from transpiration and evaporation (no room for the humidifier and air exchange would nullify it anyhow).
