Here is one of my Pre 98 Bubbas, grown under 250W HPS.
She is on Day 70 today. Going to harvest in the next couple days.

This is my first time with this special girl.
So far, she is everything I expected. I'm sure she will be around my garden for a long time.

Someone on here knows the exact story... i for one dont. i know the Katsu Bk came from katsu and i do believe it was from pre 98 bubba seeds... not really to sure.. just katsu cut will have alot less leafes and a higher calyx to leaf ratio... pre 98 looks like that above...

As far as what I see PoopyTeaBags has the katsu and the other with the purple and hardly any yield is the pre98 bub. Endur looks pre98 bub but may have been crossed. The buds just don't get that big on pre98 no matter what you do maybe in a tree that would take months to veg. WTF I just realized this is a 2 year old thread lol

actually i know what i just posted is pre 98 bubba... and i have the katsu cut also... which is why i know the difference between the two... -=]

Well if you have both than that would explain it I have not actually grown the katsu cut only the pre98 bub, but I have never seen mine look like that at day 52. The differences are the color will be a bit deeper green and the leaves kinda have that curl like in your pic but they are almost always starting to turn colors from a deep purple/red and by day 52 are almost black looking. Most katsu cuts look like yours in that pic as I was researching to make sure of what I had but I stand corrected thank you for your input

the katsu stretches much more than the 98
the 98 is stockier and has that flat crown like in your pictures....good 1

Crazy....
I acquired, my cutting, from a respectable Dispensary in Sacramento.
It was labeled as a, Certified, Pre 98 Bubba Kush.

What ever she maybe, I Love her.

I know she didn't stretch, hardly at all, Maybe @ most 6-8 inches, from the time flowering was initiated.

Either way, She is a Pungent/Stinky Girl.

yea dude the pre 98 has been my main strain for a couple years now and she fo show looks done at week 6 - i also let her go 8-9 weeks every time to let the resin mature and get the heavy stone that we all love out of her.....your pics look awesome dude keep rockin the pre 98 shes the best !

i also agree 100% about the pre 98 - katsus bud form is different and the stretch is almost not there with the pre 98

Has anyone tryed to strain from seed on here? I know It's some what new in seed form so i wasnt sure how similar to the cut it was. im not talking the green house seed i am more meaning swerves beans..

Thats how i like my bubba too i let her go to 70 days flower for that heavy indica red eye stone.I love to toke on her before bed.
