i dunno how this pee in a bottle works, but when i'm cramming for a tough exam i put some real pee in a clean condom, no foreign agents in the mix lube residue etc. then i tie it tight. you'll wanna get the thickest condom you can find. def not the thin kind. i use lifestyles. or whatever is being handed out at the std clinic/planned parenthood.

tie it nice and snug 8oz should be enough if you're looking for numbers. maybe only need 4. but anyway make sure you're wearing you're tichty whities, or snug boxer briefs. and you just shove that sucker up the crack of your thigh i guess. tuck it under your balls in your inner thigh buttcrack taint area. this will keep it body temp.

stash a sharp object on you somewhere. noone can see it. like a stick pin in your cuff of your pants. when you go in, pierce, pour, drip rest in toilet close cup, shove used condom in pocket and hurry to go submit it. it should still be in the range i believe it said 92-100 f from what i glanced on the cup.

they test the temp you sign off and you're on your way.

but yeah if they grab your balls and make you cough first you might be kinda screwed either way.

cross fingers for the cheek swab.

lol shoulda read page 2 first.

Generally, it's a week for lab tests (urine) to come back.

As dddaver said, you can have a reaction to the TB test. The PPD (purified protein derivative)skin test is a method used to diagnose silent (latent) tuberculosis (TB) infection. That could mean you've been exposed but do not have active TB.

Checking your feet for peripheral artery disease or diabetic nerve problems.

Not sure what job you were applying for...if truck driving having the hernia could be a liability.

They'll probably send you a letter. Usually at more professional type places when you don't hear from them in a few weeks you get the letter in the mail.

After this all rolls over you will need to see your primary md regarding the positive ppd... There are so many variables ( bad reading etc.) but bottom line is if it is "truly" positive.. ( to be determined) you should probably be put on a regimen of INH...
dont worry too much.. I work in health care and became positive.
I do routine (yearly) chest x rays and completed a course of INH as noted above.. but this was 10 years ago..

It only means you were exposed at one time.. Been such a long time I dont know the up do date protocols. These things change over time..
Nothing to worry about now but keep in the back of your mind..

good luck.. Hope you get the job....

Go to your county health department where you live or call them saying you have no money, but for your employment physical, you tested positive for PPD. Then ask to make appt. for follow up. Almost everywhere, there are county facilities for low cost health care.

If you have markers for TB, (PPD showed reaction. Chest x-ray would confirm, if active) you NEED to make sure you are not active!!! Mostly liked you've been exposed to TB, but you must, as a communicable disease, seek follow up!!!!

i had a chest x ray done when i went back for them to read the results of the test after they did the test the lady told me i was free to go and they would call me i never heard back from any of them. they made me check off a list of symptoms witch i check no to all of them. so i quess since they didn't call back that my x rays showed i don't have active tb. i done the county heath years ago and its just one big joke stand in lines for hours and time you see the doc he don't do crap. they cant even check blood pressure last time i was there they had duck tape on the bulb of the blood pressurer checker . if i have cancer it will kill me before they find out whats wrong.

Ok, if there was no mention of follow up, I'm surmising either a.) lab work is slow in clearing you, or b.) you'll get the letter others were mentioning regarding not getting the job.

And, be prepared for absolutely no response at all. Companies are so rude anymore, that even a mass produced job rejection letter is not the norm.

TB is silent, in diagnosis until it's really on the run, thus my post. Not in favor of county health facilities either, but when you have no $$ resources, regular doctor, that's where you go.
