As I'm sure you know...Tom Hill is responsible for both Deep Chunk and Monkey Balls. Your pics look very Deep Chunk dominant...and some of the Deep Chunks do have that old school skunky terp profile to them...I have a 20 lot of circa 2003 Deep Chunk running out right now with one of them exhibiting quite the skunky smell.
I'd be curious what your father in law relates further on the heritage of your seeds...also interested in how they were stored.
Thank you for your kind worded guideance. I am becoming more of a believer it is a IBL indica for sure Deep Chunk looks near identical in my research. The skunk profile is strong. Like I said... like the weed from highshcool in the 90's.
I respect your inquiry and will ask more in depth about storage.

LINEAGE: unknown IBL Indica (Afghani?, Deep Chunk?)
FLOWERING TIME: 8 Weeks
YIELD: Average
PHENOTYPE: Short broad leafed, Bushy, Slow vegitative growth
COLORS: Dark green with purple tipped flowers, leaves turn full purple
AROMA: Skunky dankness in a candy store
DENSITY: High
TRICHOMES: Milky, Very few amber
WATER PIPE TEST: Burns dense. Two rounds burning to clear bowl. White/gray ash.
TASTE: Purple Smarties, Skunky dankness upon exhale. Lingering purple candy taste.
EFFECT: Sedative, High risk of couch lock
What a pleasure to smoke. While she cures I feel the flavors will come out stronger. Curing will begin in two to three days. Seeded flowers are dense and ample with genetics for the future!!

Ahh.... what a sedative effect. Immeadiately after smoking one can feel it in the eyes. Heavy. All in the face and head. Flavor while smokkng is of a classic purple flavor. Kind of old school kushy due to the way it coats ones tounge. Expando-Maxo in the lungs. Smoothe and thick smoke. For sure a heavy heavy indica!!

I always forget what's sold as smarties there is rockets here. Smarties here and other British commonwealth joints are little chocolate filled candies similar to m and Ms...

I think I was most excited about my Dr. Grinspoon x Purple Urkle. Should come out to a great 50/50 hybrid. My Grinspoon is not spindly flowered and takes forever to flower. I feel these would be best!

Do I get my seeds to Seedbay? Do I establish a price or just give them away? Looking for honest opinions from people that have used the "bay". Also whom has info on packaging seeds? 5 pack, 10 pack, 25 pack ect...?

Hey ther Boss, it's fantastic to see your projects progressing so well!
I too had woundered how the process of seed donation and strain sales worked on the bay. Here is some info I found posted elseware on icmag, my apology to the op as I forgot to save there credentials.
"Seedbay protocol
U must first contact OldPink... and get the low down ...
then U send in TESTER beans for people to run ....
{ also help to donate sum seeds for the "server fund"...}
start thread in seedbay test forum ... "looking for testers" ...
specifically asking for test runs in the "seedbay" test forum ....
contact OP... and provide list of approved testers from thread ....
then OP will send out seeds from seedbay to your approved testers... keeping all addresses and contact info confidential.... { they way it should BE} ...
then wait for tester to run and complete threads....
once there is "HYPE" .. and or demand for the seeds...
U can then submit for private breeder status... and provide beans to be listed under that forum @ seedbay...
bit of a long process.... takes months... BUT so does what we do...
enjoy the process as much as the outcome...""

Establish a price that is fair for the progeny plants. It also depends on how much you tested the outcomes to prove they worth the money.
In regular seeds I think 10 packs are the way to go. 5 packs are too small for an open pollination with unstable phenotypes and one can always buy more than one pack if needed.
I just sent mine in, untested crosses for 20 euro per 10 pack.
After testing, the prices will go up and the number of varieties offered will go down.

Ahh the skunkiness.....
These are just what I grabbed off the top of the jar. Heavy heavy and did I say HEAVY INDICA SMOKE!!!
Took the mom Urkle I saved and cloned her. Gonna let my friend do his magic on them. This friend will give us the true look at the potential of her. I will post pics once they are happy in their new home.
I am in love with this smoke. Gonna try a good old doobie tonight. That will send me straight to be I fell!!

At first it remind me too the Deep Chunkish type buds and i thought it was just a leafy purple affie pheno but i was wrong, i was also thinking the skunky terpenes profile was coming from the side male as Urkle lineage is supposed to be a Purple Afghan crossed with skunk. It's more obvious to me now that it is just the Urkle cut crossed with deep Chunk, maybe inbred for a few gens as Tom & Chimera worked with this cut a few years back...
My bad sorry for misleading you in this last post...

Some solid advice on the seedbay progression. My advice would be to grow out some of the seed and document that. See what's up and I'm sure that will be enough for people to want to test.

The new bunch coming!! Five of each cross. On day four right now. Strains are:
ECSD x Urkle
AC/DC x Urkle
Dr. Grinspoon x Urkle
Purple Kush x Urkle
Black Cherry Soda x Hashplant
So far the AC/DC x Urkle was the first to pop at only 36 hours to pop!!
ECSD x Urkle is slow but starting to erupt. More reports to come!!
