HAH. If only we lived in a world where we could legally mail eachother samples of homegrown. How are the ladies looking? I bet they're packin on that final density/frost
I've grown PPP from Nirvana. There are a couple different pheno's but I'd definitely say it leans sativa. I started flowering mine at around 9 inches and they got to a good 3 feet. Yielded between 3.5 and 4 ounces each. The only thing I didn't like about them is that they had a tendency to go hermie. Great strain, very potent and easy to grow.
As for your lighting issues, I would def go with 2 x 400W if you can resolve your heat issues. I would use only hps for flowering, but thats just my opinion. If it were me I would also buy a 400W metal halide conversion bulb for vegging.
Hey Greekguy, haven't been back in a while. Seems your plants are bulking up nicely. I'll give you some good advice as far as nirvana goes, yes they are great priced beans, but almost all they're strains say 8-10 weeks. Some take longer than others. Even the same strain will have different phenotypes that will ripen earlier than others so the best way to go by this is as such, go to your 8 weeks then start checking the trichomes on a daily basis, they'll tell you when it's ready. This is a learning experience and over time you'll understand what everyone is saying. You'll also get to know the strain your growing over time and be able to dial it in for maximum yield. That's another thing, don't go by what they say it should yield because there are so many factors that will influence this. If you continue to run PPP, you'll notice that one is better than the other. Clone that one and make it a mother, then run those clones in your flower room. I hope this helps you out a bit, best advice really is to keep things simple. Here's some PPP I ran outdoors last year. I really like this plant, I even made a few crosses with it... I'll be running her again soon. Best of luck man.
Week 7
Week 8
I took mine down at 8.5 weeks, I had an issue with mold so I cropped all the tops. I then let the rest go for another week and a half.
