Power Plant from Dutch Passion

Looking for some good info on Dutch Passion's Power Plant.

I've heard some good things about it, but can;t seem to find any good info. Hoping someone can help with some links or just plain 'ol experience :joint:

Thanks,
Rush

Have never grown it but have smoked it
Power Plant is a soft sativa smoke..very nice up buzz, and a very light taste not overpowering smell, kinda smells like a hint of haze, but not strong smelling at all
i liked it but have found other sativas are stronger
Goodluck with any other info
Peace

Very strong and vigorous plants. They stretch and fill out with large and heavy buds that have a nice smell and flavor with a great up high. My favorite phenotype smelled like apples and was a monster yielder. Good all around plant

I'll be growing in a Hydro Hut, which has a ceiling of 7ft. How many plants(power plant) would you recomend on a 3x3 ebb&flow table? I'm thinking 4-5? The Hydro Hut is 4x4x7.

[not the dutch passion version, sorry]

i grew nirvana's power plant, i know that's not what you asked about, but maybe there are others considering the cheap-o nirvana version as well. hope you don't mind if i post some pics in your thread.

i'm still smoking the 2nd of 6 specimens; of the 6, 3 were one certain pheno, 1 was a stretchier pheno, 1 was a fast-maturing skunkish pheno, and finally 1 was a longer finishing pheno. i'm assuming the 3 were the typical power plant pheno, but since i never grew the dutch passion original i have no idea really:

this is the longer pheno, seen here in day 45 of flower, harvested at today at day 71. reminds me of pics of white widow i've seen.

this was one of the 3 central power plant phenos, smelled amazing, better than the other two. also biggest yielder at a glance.

this is the stretchy pheno, with smaller buds. this one was heavily seeded, i bet i get about close to 60-70 out of her.

and this was the quick finishing skunk pheno, harvested very early at around 48 days.

Mr Dank from overgrow? I haven't seen you post around here, good to see you around if that's you. I always enjoyed reading your threads from the old days.

Hey, all of you have been very nice, especially Kokua. Thank You

I tried the search engine, and it comes up with no info....

well lets see why...what did you type in the search box? When I entered Dutch Passion Power Plant, I get this...

http://www.icmag.com/ic/search.php?searchid=1780265

That is just the beginning of the search process...the real work is weeding through the crap.

The first relavent thread I see is yours...the next is the 13th down that is titled "power plant DP 2005/2006". The next relavent entry is actually on the next page and is titled "power plant lineage"... Try it and see what you find

I'm looking for all the links you showed me IN ORDER! My bad!

I guess I didn't realize you had to "weed" through all the threads.

I did a search on Serious's "Chronic", and realized I had to open some threads and read a few pg's into 'em to find something.....

It's a search engine, but I guess it's not google huh?

Thanks Kokua

another helpful hint when searching is once you've clicked on the thread...all threads have this little guy:

...click on that and you can search within a thread...so you can narrow down the big threads and really find the meat you are looking for :) happy searching :)

i ran pp from clone. i assume it was from DP. the pheno I ran was very heavy yielding wth a stringic floral scent, approx 60 days. medium strength sativa buzz. i didnt like the floral taste a lot cause it was very strong.

here, you can see that despite attempts to tie it up @ d 46, it liked to lean

Dutch Passions Power Plant = good choice if you are lookin for energetic sativa high! My plants are from year old seed crop that consist of 4 hermies out of 20. Hermaphoridism was a little problem then, dont know is it anymore a problem in the current seed crops? Maybe someone who has ordered recently can give you a little crarification about that...

Here´s a couple in veg, they have been test subjects of Herbalistic bondage experiments and I just have to say that they have responded very well to tiein & bending. I think I can make evenly canopy to them in just about two weeks, then transplanting and after that in to the flowering :D

Peace out!

Dutch Passion Powerplant is a excellent strain IMO-strong vigorous plants that, in hydro, like v light nutes and give big yields. There are a couple of phenos-one more has more indica characteristics (ie shorter-less prone to nute burn-finishes earlier) the other a more stretchy sativa growth pattern and elongated buds with darker, finer hairs.
The hit is pretty much the same from both phenos-an energetic, rushy, up hit-it will wake you up and have you running round in circles-if you take alot it gets like mushrooms.

i grew it for a few years and would recommend it, but not the feminized version-that went hermi on me

good luck

Hey Up Growers.
Rather than start a new thread I thought I'd rekindle this one.
I'm about to germinate a pack of Dutch Passion feminised Power Plant. I read she's a light feeder and I'd like to know just how light, in terms of e.c. Any advice from those who've run this one will be greatly appreciated.
