I got PK as a freb dec-10 and I still have it going in one form or another.
last grow it got hit with some of bogs's sour strawberry kush so I have a few of those a few weeks into 12/12.
I don't have the pure PK any more though, let it go in oct

Anyone wanna take a crack at a total yield?? Took a sample top today, seeing mostly cloudy trichs, very few clear and rare amber. There's about 20 tops like this one, which is about the average size, and plenty of lower nugs which I may leave on to finish. Plus the runt plant which I'm thinking about an OZ form her.

I think Power Kush is a 50 day flowering strain...we ran it to 66 days and the results were iimpressive...super heavy stone and high, one guy ended up vomiting everything...

The colorful runt girl is dry enough and ready for jars. She gave me 38 grams of some STRAIGHT grape candy smelling nuggets; the cure should be astonishing!! A good bit more than my estimated 1oz weight too. 38g doesn't seem too bad for a runt in a 1/2 gal pot.
And yes she made some babies, with the Dolce Sativa male. Green pheno whom I'm expecting 10 oz's from has a day or 2 before jar ready. Letting 3 of the small clones go longer to see if I can get a knockout indica feel.

I think Power Kush can officially be counted as a potential cash-crop strain! Took down the last 3 clones that were flowered to about 60 days.
Looks like the final yield from these will be upwards of 350 grams, under a 400w light. 220 from the green girl, 37 from the purple runt, and expecting 80-100 of the 60 day clones. If I were to have perhaps dialed them to 100% and a couple more clones (space was available) 1g/watt would be exceeded.
But what does yield matter? Potency is just as if not more important. The girls that came down 10 days ago are in jars and the little bit that has been sampled is very very good. The scissor hash from trimming is devastating. Trying to keep my hands off to wait for a proper cure but I already know this stuff is bomb! Nicely balanced high, good for day or night and 2 hits is powerful, hence the name. The purple one stinks of some kind of grape candy, the green pheno smells a little more skunky and is very sour fruity dank smelling. I would honestly consider buying some of these seeds in the future, but I do expect 100+ seeds fathered by a Dolce Sativa male.

Here are some old (January 2011) pics of my Power Kush, which I popped from a single freebie seed and was rather happy with. She had a nice old-school skunky-sweet-hashy type of smell with a little kick of citrus when broken apart. The smoke was smooth and easy on the lungs, and the effects were a balanced hybrid on the stoney side.
It's one that was perfect for an evening relaxing session -- you're able to function and it doesn't just put you out or make you so thick-headed that communication is difficult, but it really helps relax muscles and clear the mind... stimulated my appetite quite a bit as well. I think the pheno I got was a little more Skunk-leaning... all I know is that she was very pretty flowering with all those different colored pistils, seemed different from many strains in that regard (showed white, yellow, orange, red pistils at the same time throughout flower).
Here she is in early flower... just love the pistils on this shot:
And here she is just about done at ~50 days:
And here she is all dried up and ready to smoke... I didn't pay much attention to trimming at the time, plus the guards were so nicely frosty I figured they wouldn't hamper the experience much:

In 2010 I have find nice pheno of Power Kush, clone is known as BigPower and always gives 1,5g/W, i have spread it a bit around... very nice skunky sativa:

Great pics everyone, looks like the PK is quite uniform. I see so many similarities, well bred stable strain indeed! How many of you guys who posted pics and grew her out would consider buying in the future? I assume most of you got a freebie pack like I did. If it weren't for the ~150+ seeds I'm collecting from them, I'd probably buy a 5 or 10 pack eventually.

I have 2 Power Kush that are now 35 days into flowering and looking great! Shes looking better than a lot of the very pricey genetics I bought (that, BTW, the PK seeds came FREE with!)
Running them in 10 liter (2.5 Gal) bags of Coco with Canna nutes.
Really feeding her at the mo EC 2.2 and she's loving it! Lots of huge cola's just COVERED in crystal! So yes MS if I lost her I would definitely buy seeds. I have one PK seed left that is soaking at the moment and if she doesn't grow I will definitely be buying in lots of Dina gear rather than pricey stuff that just doesn't perform as well!
Very impressed with all my dinafem gear. Great germ rates, very consistent, and all very good quality! Right now I have White Siberian, Power Kush, and Sweet Deep Grapefruit seeds soaking ready for a later round (got GHS Chemdog next, followed by Sensi Black Domina)
