Power for 4k grow

Not too hijack this thread or anything, but the title of the thread drew me in. What kind of electrical bills do you guys see?, I notice a 30 % rise in my bill during flowering time, which is not much since I would normally pay about 60 70 bucks a month, about 100 bucks now. I am only running a 400w mh and a 95 w cfl, with a few fans, I cannot imagine 4 k w of lights, plus running an a/c unit in there as well.
The power bill depends on the local rates and the efficiency of the setup. Some folks pay as much as $.40 a KWH, so they're probably looking at $1k power bills by the time you figure in AC, dehumidifier, pumps, fans, etc. Most of us are in the $.10-$.20 range tho, so it's normally alot lower.
Electric is no problem if you pay it they don't care it is when you don't that is when they come around and send you bills and notices.
I just got another job today and I will be able to get all the nice gear to have everything running at 100 %.
I know I have to have my system's dailed in before I can invest the money but that is why I have not just jumped in it yet I have the whole room to work with but I'am still learning and need to work out the kinks before I make my lab.
