Potting Up???

Hi all..

Just wanted a little advice regarding potting up.

I'm just about to re-pot my 5 sweet tooth 4ibl, they're currently in 6 llitre pots and are way to big for them (in my opinion). The plants are in the first 3 days of 12/12, so should i re-pot into 11litres or go for a 18 litre (5 gal) pot.
The soil I'm using is Jamie Oliver (yes the chef off the tv) grow bags. Thanks. This picture was taken about 10 days ago and they're larger now!!!

It will slow the plants down. 6L is what?.. just under 2 g, roughly. 5 g wont hurt but I,m not sure if the plant will produce enough roots, now that its in flower, to utilize all that space. Personally, I'd just double the pot volume if youre rootbound, which is probably the case. Theres only 6+/- weeks to go so I wouldnt encourage the plant to do much of anything outside of making more bud.

Yeah, no problem, you'd be surprised at how much nothing happens when you up pot.I've been stacking my pots to some extremes lately, some have even three, this reduces any shock the plant might have at all but I do wierd things on occaision...

Thanks for all the suggestions definitely going to re-pot into a 5 gal (they should be here wednesday) pot, I think the teeth will be grateful!

Sounds good man, the rootspace will certainly be only beneficial for them :good:

Much love and look forward to seeing some flowering pics! :canabis:
