Pot Triggers Psychotic Symptoms

I've gotta give fox news props here, they actually did carry the article about marijuana compounds decreasing tumor size by 50% in three weeks and the one about it not raising lung cancer risks. They even discussed it on Red Eye, one of their late night programs.

This is a tough issue and I'm not sure that I really trust democrats to come through on it. I truly think that this issue does cross party lines. Today in the MN senate a bill on MMJ was passed. Several (R)'s voted for it and some (D)'s voted against it. I checked the senate's website to see if they had posted the yays and nays, but it's not up yet. Hopefully those numbers will be around tomorrow.

I don't trust (D)'s because they seem to want to mother all of us. They're the one's pushing all of the cigarette smoking legislation from what I can tell, but I don't trust the (R)'s since they've been taken over by the religious right and want to force everyone to live according to the biblical rules that they can't even manage to follow themselves. BARRY GOLDWATER WE NEED YOU NOW! (

I know pot can infact lead to Schizophernia in people that are prone to it. I know 3 people that were heavy pot smokers and eventually becam schizophernic. Without pot and other drugs it's possilbe that people who are prone to schizophernia (family history etc) may never show any symptoms if they stay away from drugs inlcuding pot, drinking etc.

one of the people I know is a good friend of my dads, he was a heavy pot smoker since his teens and he became schizophernic in his mid twenties but it most likely also had to do with stress also as it was the same time that his wife left him.

We are back to the reefer madness days of the 1920's... smoking pot will make you insane.. funny how things come full circle.. meanwhile.. every pharmaceutical commercial on TV lists so many scarey side affects that I wonder why people would ever take them.. Of course those are legal "medicine" Just so happens that they were created by Billion dollar pharaceutical corporations.. but the FDA has no problem with them..

Yummy how do you know those people werent pre disposed to mental illness prior to smoking? I have a few friends who ended up mentally ill and they smoked pot, but guess what? I have many more friends who ended up with very successful business careers and got married, had kids and live the american dream. I would say the ratio of may 2 of 10 or 1 of 10 may be the same with non drug users also.

Shit, if anything, smoking bud suppresses my psychotic tendencies. I might be a crazy mofo, but I calm down when I smoke. It is called being stoned.

I am crazy to....but, I blame all the broken cfl's and mercury. maybe mercury and ganja have been causing my irrational behavior all this time :wink: LOL
