Considering in NYC a 2 bedroom apt. can go for anywhere from $3000 to over $30K a month i think as babba said, its all relative. The cost of living is higher there and so is the average wage of those who live in NYC. If you 30k a year it may seem like wallet rape but then again if you make 30k a year you cant live in NYC. Some may see the cost of things in NYC as high but again the wages are higher so its all relative

A. If you can spend 4K per month for a crappy apartment. You can spend 30 bucks a gram. Do I think it is immoral to gouge marijuana prices...yes, but I also think it is immoral to charge 4K per month for a crappy apartment. I don't split hairs with weed. Capitalism is Capitalism is Capitalism. In places like NYC, London, Paris you get raped for everything.

B. Of course there is killer weed in Amsterdam.(Don't roll your eyes at me) The problem is finding it in the coffee shops unless you know people. I've been to shitloads of coffee shops in Amsterdam and what is cool about them is not neccessarly the quality of the weed, it is the accessability, openess, and most importantly SELECTION. I love Amsterdam, I love it alot, but let's face it, unless you are friends with the dealers or growers or connected locals, or go to a cup event you are not getting their best.
