i did the same conversion to my ice catcher,went to the many shopd i frequent and wanted to buy the generic glass on glass stem and bowl set as an upgrade, but all that bastard had was ROOR sets. they do hit nice though

definitely, it hits ultra smooth with some ice in there no matter what the quality of the smoke actually is.......its a beautiful thing

I was thinking about getting a bong myself, was looking on everyonedoesit.com at those WeedStar brand bongs. Thinking about getting one of those since they are so cheap and come with ice notches and diffuser.
Has anyone here used one before? Is it a good bong for the price?

I have acquired a new bong as a result of a clumsy stoned friend breaking my last one.
The big one in the back is my new one -- Phoenix (rising from the ashes of the one that was broken). It's hard to tell from the photo, but the rings around the top and base are amber colored. I also got a free diffuser downstem with it
! The little one with the pink bowl and base is my girlfriend's new bong. She named it Charlotte.
Within days of getting my new bong, I broke the dark bowl you see in the picture. I dropped it a whole 3 or 4 inches onto my coffee table while cleaning it
. So I have replaced it with:
Everything in the pics (including my girlfriend's and all the bowls and downstems) cost me about $200 total -- worth every penny, IMO.
