what is that you are using as a lighter, thejointed one?

is it a phedor?

or a soldering iron of some description?

or something else?

And does it ignite your weed or does it "vaporize"?

I am the same kid I was 20 years ago. I can whoop any 17 year old at an impromptu bong making challenge. At least today it's a bit more refined than 2 liter soda gravity bongs in the sink. I got the lab glass at a yard sale, a box of stuff for $10. I had to cut off an airstone-like diffuser at the bottom of the glass tube - WAY too much resistance with it in place. But besides that all I did was cut two pieces of hose and drill little holes in one of those. For packing, the vaporizer's bowl easily pulls in & out of it's new home in the bong, yet is snug enough to stay put & be airtight on the inhale. I put a pierced piece of hose at the bottom of the glass tube (where I cut off the diffuser) to lower the tube's reach & act as a diffuser. I spent maybe 30 minutes finding the right rubber hoses to cut & use. I've only had the vape for a couple weeks & enjoy it fine without the add-on bong, but what the heck - this little thing almost built itself, cost next to nothing and works great!!

(For size reference the records are 10" and 7" no standard LPs in the pic.)

I'm considering naming the contraption "Doctor Evil" to go with the lab glass vibe.

Just splashed out on a vriptech heat wand and accessories in an effort to finally give up combustion in favour of vapes. Ouch! pricey... but less than half the price of a volcano... I'll let you know what it's like when I have it in and fired up

This is already going to a lucky winner once an accompanying hook is made, but had to post it because it is just so absolutely beautiful to me....
Diffused oilbub blowout made by David Makalaster...probably 7-8" tall, 3" wide at the base...
Pardon the enormous amounts of finger oil on the piece..my bad.

I really enjoy a departure from the plethora of wigwags/reversals/solidcolor/stickstack work that everyone but me seems to love.... :D..

While I'm at it...here's another favorite...
my Bday present last yr given to me by David Makalaster...made from scraps of dichro..amber purple...and some other colors...
Lve this piece, one of my favorites, ironic because it was made from leftover glass scraps....dimensions are roughly 3" x 2.5"
It can be hit 2 different ways, too. Hehe. A little delicate but so much originality, style, and art it makes me wanna piss myself.

Hey guys, here's a picture of the pieces I use most. On the right, the Extreme Vaporizer. On the left, the custom double bub, with 14.4 illadelph downstem. And my prized piece in the middle, the 7mm Illadelph beaker, with 18.8 bowl and EHLE downstem.

Another smoking essential is at the bottom of the picture, a Hakko soldering iron. Perfect lighter that doesn't let off any butane or anything for that matter. If u really want to enjoy the flavor of your herb, i highly recommend picking one up (only about $35 online).
