Here is a prized piece of the collection: (I will post the rest later, perhaps.)

It is a PHX double perc, with a 14.5mm ashcatcher and bowl. The original 18.8mm slide broke, so with improvision a rubber gromet makes the 14.5mm snug in the 18.8mm diffusor hole! I'm having a new custom worked bowl blown right now

nice mines almost exactly like that but its a roor and it has 1 perc with a 3 split and diffused then the dry dome thing but i have a illidelph double ashcatcher on it.

heres a shittly lil pic
i have to get a better one with the ashcatcher on it

Where can you buy one of those illidelph double ashcatchers? do they work well or cause alot of drag?

works great,,it has 2 diffusers and a double bubble so the water dont suck all into the bong like with the crappy roor but the joints are a lil unstable ive heard. they have them at smoke shops. but i just searched the web and found that one at a site..

My prized piece...


The pull isnt as fierce and satisfying as a ROOR but the PHx provides the smoothest drag by far. I opted for the double perc because the triples(trinity) were a bit cumbersome and required too much lung capacity after those long sessions. Though the rounded bulb base would have been nice. One can find quite the selection out in the Bay Area as they are blown in Berkely, CA.

Next up, replace the shitty 18.8mm bowl that comes stock with this piece, the hole is way to large and ya lose alot of bud near the end. RooR ground accessories are the only way to go.

funny I own a TON of 18 and 14mm gong slides.. Ive got quite the selection actually.. and I love the stock phx slide.. keep in mind they are handblown and the hole from bowl to bowl will vary.. :chin: Now that I think of it I have a US stock ror slide (narrowing 14mm that the hole is a lil too small for my likings..)

BTW I also own the fierce roor double perc ya speak of but prefer a single chamber roor as multi perc takes away too much flavor IMO.. I also owned the lung busting phx trinity :confused:

sweet 2x phx wish i could try the dup.. :dueling:

what about the freakin diffusors that come with the PHXs. On my double perc beaker bottom one, the diffusor has like 17 +/- holes

Merry, are you speaking of another piece or the one in the pic from last page? Looks like a triple in the pic, but id love to be able to find a double with the beaker (haha bulb) bottom.

Or am i getting confused and perc refers to the little stages within the middle of the piece?

in my roor the percs.. have there own diffusers.. + the one in the ash catcher and the one in the down stem... then 3 more in the neck

My friend bought a little FG Bubblebottom RooR, diffuser, n slide today at HomeGrownGlass and he's letting me hold on to it.. not much of a GonG person myself but this motivates me to get one for sure.
