i hate prodo. but i love prodo also b/c it makes the glassworld go around.

i do gotta thank a prodo piece though.

i had a 15$ chillum in 9th grade i loved so much. i almost quit smoking (for a girl.. STUPID) but that chillum kept me in the game. I prob would of quit for good at that point (wasnt a hardcore pothead yet) but i bought that chillum randomly that day at a house full of glass and it swayed my idea at the time.

thankfully that girl is gone, and sweet mary j is still in my life. ha ha ha

hey icmag, my friend is going to germany for school for a little while and he asked me what the difference is between german roors and us roors because he is interested in bring some glass back. i couldn't answer him so i'm wondering if you guys have the answer. (aka tony/roor head) is it glass quality, different blowing method ect

RooR USA is owned by a company in Los Angeles called Dementia. They use the same glass as RooR germany and Have the Same Glass Lathes. The difference is.... Its made in the US. Also RooR Germany has more products and more selections. You can but custom glass there and a much bigger range of things to buy. German roors can come with the crowns on the mothpiece, as well as many other features that are rarely found on US RooRs. RooR germany also makes the Bubblers.

RooR head may have other opinons though because i know he does not support/like Dementia.

RooR usa doesnt own dementia, they are just the only distributors, i know the owner of the dementia, M is a cool dude. with that sayed im not gonna put words in roor heads mouth but it says hes in ny, dementias are only in socal, and one in CO.

well roor DE doesn't do percs, or bent necks or 9mm and for the most part no bubble bottoms


roor us, makes perc'd tubes, bent necks, 9mm, cleaner less expensive section and from what I've read they are now offering crowns. roor us also make a bubbler as well as a hookah.

so actually roor us has a bigger selection

they also make way more tubes, so their quality control isn't nearly as good as roor de.

i've seen some pretty hideous dots on roors before. like around the mouth piece... all bubbly and shit, i can't believe it when they charge so much per tube.

i had a custom roor blown for me in los angeles ordered through dementia awhile ago; albeit it was only adding a crookneck to the 3ft green glass standard with ice catcher... they got it done though and it works like a charm... perfect couch height

German roors r made from pyrex the best boro u can use adn then usas r made with cheaper boro! this is a well known fact! roor usas have also used chineesees coloring glass as well. thats why they tend to break alot more then german roors do. tell your friend to go tothe roor head quaters and you can get some of the best custom roors ever made!

as of dementia not a fan. u have to b a vip member i hear just to get opas. so basicly your money is not good enough unless you get suckered into paying the most rediculous prices out of any headshop ive hear! all im gonna say is 700 plus for a deppe slide is the most retarded thing i have ever heard off!

as of carlson hes the man this is my favorite pieace by him. i could get a lee carlson colab at hadin to hertel and suanders was part of it too!

I have 3 RooRs from Dementia... i lived in L.A. for 19 years and went to all 5 Dementias in southern california. I have never paid over $350 for a RooR and have had my fair share. Yes, they do hook you up if they know your face and will give way better deals for returning customers.... BUT THAT IS BUSINESS! I have not had a problem with my RooRs breaking and have only broken one. my green label (their thinnest glass). Which im suprised it lasted as long as it did and took as many hits as it did. Either way RooR is quality... Enough said

yeah but it's fucked up when some one travels to socal from thousands of miles away to get some limited edition shit and be told " you don't spend enough money here"

i made the dumbest mistake last night. i didn't melt the horn in enough at a certain spot that sent a crack all the way around the can.. the shape was pretty sweet but lost it's flow after i had to go around and fix the crack.. looks like i got another keeper, but at least this one will stay in 1 piece.

colors are purple - grey - grey - blue - grey - grey - purple.

wish i had more but this might be my last solid colored piece till my cash starts replenishing, haha. sucked too b/c i was makin decent progression with each piece.
