I have an American Bulldog and am soooo tired of hearing "is that a pit?", "whata pretty pit bull" "is she OK <wink wink, nudge nudge>?" and the like.

No one EVER asks if my St Bernard is "OK". No one ever asks if my choc lab is "OK". To be honest, knowing my girls, I would be most afraid of the St. 160+ lbs of "I wanna wrestle" is kind of intimidating (not to mention fun for all involved). Yes my little 55lb Amer Bulldog looks kind of scary, I guess. If you don't know animal postures, or what a wagging tail means or the Petey-like (Little Rascals) "is there food in that other hand" look in her eyes when she is saying hi.

here's my dog Rocco - he is an APBT. I too hate what the media has done to these wonderful dogs...it's so sad. They are one of the nicest breeds.

ferrets stink to much especially when i go the petstore its like they never clean them my friend had a ferret and it had its own little room like a closet with tubes and hiding places it was pretty cool seems like a lot of care and work tho i prefer mans best friend

Damnn, I'm jealous, I've always wanted a dog but have never been allowed, now that I've moved out I am not in a situation to own one, some day..........

I started liking dogs cos my gran had black labradors, pic... grr nvm won't let me post it, EDIT: check gallery for pic

Very chilled out dog tho , its cool how they always have different personalities

Anyway my favourite breeds are: labradors, akitas, huskeys, St. Bernards, golden retrievers, german shepherds, newfoundlands

This guy may be the most beautiful dog i've ever seen! Piercing blue eyes, kinda husky looking but the jaw really shows his wolf heritage

He's timber wolf, arctic wolf and malamute.

Independent to the core, stubborn, but loving and great with the family. The wolf part of him made it very hard to break him, to show him who's boss. But he knows now, and we love him.

Pictures of people's dogs is always an uplifting thing to see.

Heres my gaurd dog!! she actually barks and only barks when people are about to get near our door, she is awesome cuz she doesnt bark when me or my g/f are arriving, only when a stranger approaches ..plus shes cool as heck she likes ern she always licks my fingers after i mess with my plants and also licks my nuggs when i put em near her...ive caught her str8t up eating shake off my table and dried up leaves!!!!!!!

I am also very allergic and she doesnt bother me at all unless she licks me in the eye directly!

as companions. My springers are alot of work and need
extra room to run and roam although I do enjoy hunting
with my dogs too.

I had pitbulls and some mutts I got into to Presas by my growing mentor. I have three Presa's Everyone thinks they are overgrown pitbulls and sometimes ask me how I train my pitbull I was accused of giving my pitbull steroids once By the way they are not as mean as they look.
