Bulmastif myself...super calm girl! Getting well into her senior years, 9 I think. She is very reserved with strangers but so very loving once she is comfortable with you!

No pics but check my avatar...that is her. We call her "Donkey".

My favorite breed is definitely dobes. My boy duke is 7 months old now. I swear, this dog is attached to my hip. He has to be right next to either me or my wife at all times. He is an extremely high energy dog. If I would have to pic another breed, it would be great pyrenees. Large, laid back, protective and friendly at the same time.

as far as I'm concerned, they don't breed a more dedicated and loyal companion...I've had the joy of raising 11 of these creatures over the last 40 years...he's the finest I've had the pleasure of knowing

I love my American Staffordshire Terriers..

When reared in a loving family, they are without any shadow of a doubt some the nicest dogs.. Extremely loyal, loving, and they do everything with such enthusiam.. They jump, they jump, and feel like twice the dog LOL.. If they run, they run hard... You play, and they play harder... You love them this much (------), and they love ya back this (--------------) much more :)

Sometimes I can't help but trust my dogs judgement more then my own... IF my dog dont like you, then I probably wont either LOL.. It's almost as if they can look at a person, and know thier true intentions..

Aye, i prefer a smaller dog as i live in the city. Jack russels and pembroke corgis are my favourites, though i am quite partial to red setters aswell. My favourite dog was a red setter called gelit. No pics of him i can upload, but he was such a lovely dog.

Here's a pic of our Shih tzu:) He's truly a bad ass, tough little dog and weighs over 20lbs, which is giant for the breed. And yes he surfs!:) He's been the best guard dog I've ever had and has a general dislike for men, but is really sweet to the girls:) I've owned several of the same breed and love the fact that they don't shed at all:):)

Might be off topic.... Apologies if Im Hijacking.... Just doesnt seem worth opening a new thread....

What do you guys feed your dogs? Iams, Euk, Scince Diet, Pedigree etc... Wet or Dry? Anyone make their own dog food? Why do you like the one you use?
Im askin cause I want to switch my dobes food and thought I'd get some opinions if I could....

Again apologies if its too far off topic

He was on Royal Canin for a long time which is incredibly expensive

I'm feeding my girls a 50/50 mix of dry Canidae grain fee all life stages/kirkland chicken, and veggies...

Canidae like Royal Canin is very good stuff, but very expensive stuff at $48-52 per 35lb bag.. I fed them only the Canidae as pups, but now that they're older, and not growing as much I'm mixing it 50/50 with the cheaper Kirkland dry I get for $22 per 40lb at Cosco...

Surprising the kirkland dry food is good stuff too... Only main differences being of course the price, and the canidae having chicken, turkey, lamb, fish meals, veggies, and probiotics in 1 bag, where as the kirkland just has chicken, veggies.. Kirkland also doesnt have the probiotics Canidae does..

I like the foods that dont contain all the fillers/corn meal etc., and would be something I could actually eat if I ever end up in the poor house with my dogs LMAO... Both these fit that bill..

Cool site that rates dog food...
