Malawi X Super lemon Haze

Malawi X Super lemon Haze

HOLESHOT, Have any new pics of that lovely young lady? I screwed myself trying to find a recessive phenotype with very cold night temps. I let it roll for 6 weeks. All I accomplished was costing myself 3 to 4 ounces of dried bud. (lesson learned). Oh well I will still get 5 out of her. Peace
Hey Farmerlion,No new pics ATM . Will wait a week or too , until a little larger. Hopefully it is a girl , and has great taste and potency.

I harvested the lady. She filled 3 quart jars of bud only. I did lose some over all weight looking for pheno expressions in colder temps. But it's not about quanity just quality. One more month of curing and I will have a friend give me a smoke report. I do have a bunch of f2's from this Hawaiian X Zamaldelica cross. It may be some time before I run anymore. I have so many genetics on hand and work in small numbers.
Peace

I ended up with about 1,000 or so seeds. I haven't separated out mottled and most mature seeds yet. I ran everything through the grinder separating crystals and fines. I will have some friends do smoke reports for me this week and see if this is worth growing out anymore. Peace

A New Northern Lights Haze Hybrid by Corky1968

A New Northern Lights Haze Hybrid by Corky1968

Well the only hybrid I've made with any of Ace's stuff is a cross that I made a few years ago. I'm testing out a few seeds
and really like what I see thus far. This hybrid was created by using 2 Sensi Seeds Northern Lights Males and 1 Oldtimer Haze
Female. The Oldtimer Haze line used was the one with Ace's OT1 Haze Purple/Green Female#1 crossed to their OT1 Green Male#6 .

Most of the plants have the Oldtimer Haze pheno look and smell to them. Thin leaves and perfume smell. I got 2 that are leaning
a bit more towards the Northern Lights I think. But the one pictured below is I find the one that has the most perfect blending of
the two types of plants. It's got the perfume smell of the OT1 Haze mixed with the pine smell of the Northern Lights. The leaves
are also perfectly blended, not thin and yet not thick.

The plant may look small. But that's because I'm training it to be very bushy and don't want a sativa tree.

I can wait to see what will come of it when it flowers.

I suspect this hybrid will be really easy to clone as I spilled water a few times on the stem and root nubs have appeared.

Hey all, I've got a few of my ACE crosses in the garden at the moment, last year i used a Bangi Haze, a Tikal and two PCK males to hit most plants in the garden then decided which lines to investigate based on which of the mothers produced the best flowers in this damp climate. I popped a few of each to see what they're like, if something spectacular comes up from any of the crosses, I'll do a larger selection next year, select some males and move forward with the cross. Apologies for the pics, hard to see what's going on through a smashed iphone screen :(

(Krome's Triangle x Hindu Kush) x PCK, only got 2 seeds, only one survived, luckily looking like it's a she!

(Bubba Kush x Hashplant) x Bangi Haze. Particularly excited about these, strong and vigorous, and the stem rub smells just like the BKHP mum, definitely a flavour profile i want to pursue. Lovely.

Anyway, big thanks to dubi for making these quality genetics available for me to play with, the job of selecting males is a lot easier when you know no corners have been cut :tiphat: Peace, TEC.

My little Northern Lights X Oldtimer Haze hybrid from post #167 is now a female and
is joined by another female. I still have 2 left to sex. I'm actually in the process of
transplanting 5 others outdoors for a test grow.

It was either I test them outdoors or cull them. I got too many plants indoors now.
So trying them outdoors is better than killing them I figure. I don't have anything
else outdoors. So 5 Northern Lights X Oldtimer Haze hybrids will be cool to play
with in the great outdoors.

The 4 that I'm keeping indoors will be pollinated by my male(s) RSC Kerala.

Thus creating a new hybrid plant.

Buddler, well for one thing it sure beats killing them by placing them outdoors.

a) This way I get to see how big they can get.

b) Nothing stops me from taking clones before it gets to cold and flowering the indoors.

If they live one week outdoors past the transplanting shock.
I'll start a thread and document their progress for all to see.

Here's one of the 4 Northern Lights X Oldtimer Haze female hybrids that I'm keeping indoors.
Actually it's the same one pictured before and she's getting real bushy now thanks to my
specialized growing techniques.

Same plant from above with a can of Pepsi cola for comparison.

If you look closely a few pistils can be seen.

Indeed I am very interested to see what the NL does to the OTH flowering period as those look heavy OTH with structure, leaf pattern and growth density.

I'm surprised nobody else made this NL/Oldtimer Haze cross yet.

From what I can tell she's flowering much faster than the
Oldtimer Haze pure. No doubt due to the NL's influence.

Running 6 of the Zamaldelica X Hawaiian f2's this summer again. 5 are very sativa leaning phenotypes. 1 has 9 leaf sets but has the very wide indica phenotype leaves. This particular plant is a beast compared to the others. One other sativa dominant phenotype is at the 12th node and is still only knee high. The plant is very robust with strong branching. This plant excites me as I select the shortest plants for each breeding cycle with this hybrid cross. I will put up some pics soon of these two plants. Peace
