Good work!

I always wanted to use my dehumidifier water, but was waiting years for some brave soul to try it first!

LMAO - Fucking Awesome Avatar BD :sasmokin:

I think the only way that could be better is if it were a big lollipop bud in a tube - the tube is sticking out of her and the top of the tube is open with a bud sticking out ... on fire !!!

That would be fucking amAZING !!! LOL :sasmokin: :sasmokin: :sasmokin:

I just want to be clear and issue a WARNING about the Soleus LX-140. I have had it break down and require a total replacement 4 FUCKING TIMES. I live not far from the Soleus warehouse (by PURE chance) and so it takes me an hour to drive it there and get a replacement. But if I didn't live near them I would be FUCKED. Don't buy this model, get something else.

The problem with dehumidifier water has been copper in the water from the tines. Copper is bad for roots - kills them. Soooo the ac unit doesnt have this problem? Thats badass!

:joint: I've been using it for years......My well water is almost 300ppm and the dehumidifer water is only like 30ppm. But then again I clean that thing inside and out pretty regularly with scalding hot water and bleach. Plus, I put a pretty thick filter on the back to keep the dust off the coils and contaminating the water.

I've got no clue on this one  ....I've got no other problems with my roots in my DWC other than the nute temps getting too high. Here's a little info, not much:

Trace Elements

The six trace elements of Boron, Copper, Iron, Manganese, Molybdenum, and Zinc are not required in large quantities, but are important in the transfer of energy in plant processes.

Copper
A copper deficiency is commonly mistaken for an over fertilization problem, but it is set apart by the growing tips dieing off first along with the crispy leaves. The new shoots will die from the tips and margins first, often going brown or even white before they die.

So perhaps copper, in large unbalanced quantites is bad for roots??? is a better statement? I dunno.....But it does get used by the plant, and it has to go thru the root system to get there.... :dueling:

I've been planning on building some sort of enclosure to put my window AC unit in but I really wanted to get one of these portable units....If my temps in the 6'x6'x8' room are about 90 :yoinks: with 1800watts of lights running....ambent temps outside the room are about 80-82 degrees...A.-what size unit would I need to run and B.-whats something like this gonna cost?
