Sandman since you came up with the subject would you like to start the thread..... I will be happy to with your blessing but would not steal your subject.

I think this could be a very important topic. CO2 is a labor intensive, relative expensive undertaking that if we are taking some of the obvious gain away that we adding we are sort of working at least a little against ourselves.

Thanks Skeletor and Sandman and the others about the rain water thing. It snowed a bunch here and my barrels are full... checked the EC and it was 11. Excellent ........ We do not get moisture often enough to take care of it all but it will cut down on a lot. I am going to send a sample off to the treatment company to have it analysed like jose suggested.

VT sorry no definate answers. Maybe if Sandman or myself place it over in Hydro we can get a genius or two to jump in with some good application of the concepts.

I was just looking through some notes i took when i installed by co2 burner. I have a sealed room, dual-hose porto ac, and fan-cooled sealed lights. Here was the breakdown (no plants were in the room):

i put the ppms up and then looked to see how fast they dropped in different scenarios.

room alone (ac off, light fan off): drops 10ppm/min

ac on only, light fan off: drops 40ppm/min (so ac adds 30ppm/min)

ac and light fan on: drops 60ppm/min (light fan adds 20ppm/min)
(EDIT: this was when i was venting the co2 generator, which i don't do anymore, so my total loss is now 40ppm)

of course, the plants eat a lot, but i was just measuring room loss. This was before i used a heat exchanger to cool the co2 so that the ac cycles on less. I haven't measured since, but thought you all might like these numbers for a rough reference. Better seals all around would get rid of room loss and light fan loss, and i have been trying to get both sealed better, but it ain't easy and LP is cheap.

i will say this again pics dont get you busted..even pics of your fingers...years posting thousands of pics...on overgrow and here...its ileagal as hell in the american state i live in to grow...never popped yet...i do delete my acount often and start another...whats in a name..i would rather show off

I'm probably worried about nothing today,but what about tomorrow?What happened with OG didnt help me with these paranoid pic feelings lol.Its one thing to have a true problem where a pic would be necessary and helpful to the outcome of your grow,but I'll be dammed if I'm going to go down for showing off,no way no how.There's a whole lotta that goin on around here lol.

I loved OG but was always worried even to post. There are so many sites and so many posting... you would have to stick out pretty far to become important. I bounce my Internet around the world at least once and go through proxies with VPNs in several different countries. I could still be traced with lot and lots of time, and lots of tax dollars. The best thing is not to be a person they really want to go after that bad. Anyone, pics or not that comes up on the radar is already had. If they want you they will get you. Point is there are millions of growers that are not commercial or at least not the amount of commercial they want to spend those type of expenses of time, and effort on.

We are the enemy no doubt..... the point is most of us wouldn't even register on the scale they are looking at... then if you take precautions the chances are infinitesimally small. Don't tell, smell, or sell and you are just a nuisance to them. If they get interested in you for other things then you may register but otherwise we amount to static....... at least for now.

OG was full of many big fish in a huge pond,ICmag is more like a puddle and its easier to stick out.If I were just growing a plant or three in an apartment somewhere yea posting pics wouldnt be too big a risk.I'd lose everything if they came.I wish I were more computer saavy I never use a proxy or anything like that,dont know how really lol.I just read in a security thread that 20-30 people in Italy got busted this year for posting pics on forums without using a proxy.The guy never responded again and it could be all bullshit,but I dont know that.I just want to feel as safe as I can about this,and posting pics wont help with that lol.Friends like luckyleaf on OG used to rib me a lot on the subject,its alright though you see I can take it lol
