high all,
i'm growing 4 unknown bagseed and a couple og kush X california indica
home-made cross (i've ran them twice yet and they are heavy hashy indica stuff, need your bed 2hours after smoke for sure).
for the unknown bagseeds, i kept the seeds from a very strong weed i bought 75grm from a friend and in the whole bag i found 9 seeds.
the weed was really narcotic but not sleep inducing.
so, i officialy have 0 males atm but i suspect one of the 4 to be a balls sprouter soon.
the 2 OGxCI are declared strong females.
the grow tent is an old black box 100x100cm or 3x3feet
the light is a 400w MH + a hlg 100w quantum board for grow and for flow a philips master son t 600w.
nutrients are veeeery simple: a 2 years old canna rhyzotonic (finish after 2 weeks), G.H bio-roots, G.H flora coco
enzymes for flush and clean the coco before next run, ph down.
i water them once or twice a day always with nutes at around5.8/6.3. atm i'm around EC1.3/1.8 with a 0.43background EC
i hand water and check ec with a Hanna and check ph manualy with generic ph drops and color chart. i know my city water and it is all the time at PH8.0/8.3, so if i drop 2.5Ml ph down in a 2 gal water reservoir and i'm around 6/6.5 without nutrients, i mean with nutes i'm just in the range.
Plants had 5 weeks of grow and i've switched the timer to 12/12 today, so tomorow day 1 of 12/12.
i made a few pics with phone but the light and color are ugly i hope you'll excuse me as for my bad english

hi C,
welcome on my modest diary,
thanx to stop despite nothing exciting yet to watch...
anyway, i'm sure these bastards nute suckers will explode in no time,
at this cost it should be veeeery effective if i compare with the "hyped" growers costs,
it should be outrageous for sure.
if they give me 10/12oz dry i'd be happy for the next 4 months or so.
i saw on your threads that you need lot more than me...
please comment as you like along my grow and give me advices if you think it is needed.
first day of 12/12 today... EC is 1.6 and mix is still in the grow ratio program (2 grow +1 bloom)
these plants seems to eat anything i drop to them, last week i gave them 1.8, they handled it like a charm. usualy i don't give more than 1.2/1.4 untill week 2 or 3 of flow.
i wish you a nice day Cmoon.
cheers.
WB.

hi Lyfespan,
nice to stop here.
i didn't know that i can use it more than 1 year (3 runs for me).
what do you do after a harvest before re use it?
just water and enzymes as i do or do you have other technics?
thanx in advance Lyfespan, have a nice day.
Cheers.

Just this guy, ya know?
I don't have anything useful to add, I just wanted to say the first time I saw that last pic there I thought one of your seedlings had some fucked up roots, then I realized it's some sort of dab or wax or something. Good luck with the grow!

I have taken a 4" core out the middle of a 10" pot, and planted in the hole. Many times. Though giving it all a riddle is better, as it fights compaction. My coco is never chocked full of feed at the end, but still needs a fairly long initial dripping session, to get the run-off right. If feeding usually takes 10 minutes, then another 5-10 minutes is needed after half an hour or so. The half hour being time for the salts to dissolve as much as they may.

After a number of years, the coco is more like a nice black compost to look at. There is usually 20% gets changed, as the new plants are started in small pots containing fresh stuff, that is moved to the final pots. It's these final pots where the reuse takes place. So nothing much is in there more than 3 years, even if the grow has been going longer.

Hydrogen peroxide is used if I feel the substrate needs a clean. I didn't see any benefit from enzymes. It did speed things up, but nothing actually needs speeding up. It didn't speed anything up enough to actually complete a job, so I actually found it detrimental. In my mind, the roots are very slow release. Meaninglessly slow. Until you add enzymes. Then I had difficult starts, I guessed from the unknown food supply. I didn't try it many times though, as I'm more about avoiding problems than studying them.

hi C, thanx for the breeder's origin of your plant.
is it the white label or normal sensiseed bank one?
so it is an old pheno you kept during years?
renewing clones or caring an old mother?
sorry for those questions but i love NL and if i can score good NL beans nowadays from sensiseeds or anyelse breeder i'll go for it soon...
well, the today's pics of the group, stretch is on it's way it seems.
thanx C, have a nice green day
