Does anyone know what size pollen is filtered at .I built a dog house to hold a few males and need to know what micron filter to get.Restriction is not really a factor very little heat with 2 ft t-5 fluro in there .I am fairly certian a 5 micron filter would pick it up but any insight would help as these males are abit closer to the ladies than I have ever done before but where they are is my only option at the moment

Thanks and Happy HollidaZe

Typical pollen can range from about 10 microns [ for really small pollen ] to upwards of 50-60 microns for the larger stuff.

Speaking of which.

Has anyone ever heard of using only the largest grains of pollen to produce seeds?
I was talking to someone who said he pollinates his plants 1 grain at a time. Something about the big pollen gives him big buds.

I was pretty skeptical to say the least...

edit: Or maybe he filters the smaller grains out using a sort of dry sieve method similar to making hash, then uses the larger stuff to pollinate...?
