Hello people,
Now the thing is ive got 6 female cinnamon plants and 2 normal s.a.g.e plants.
The 2 s.a.g.e plants are completely fine and are in 2 weeks flower, but 3-4 cinnamon have what i think is root rot. I mean theres some weird green shit on the top soil, IVE NEVER EVER HAD THIS PROBLEM!! well...i took it off last night ,but know its reapeared, WTF!! what is this stuff, i dont want to loose faith in female seeds and i know most of you will say its down to my growing but..im pretty sure it aint, and like i said , the s.a.g.e is completely normal!!
Is there any way of stopping this green shit from reapearing? what shall i do?
I NEED SOME ADVICE < QICK!! Has anybody growen cinnamon or had this green shit appear?, what causes it? PLEASE PLEASE HELP!! Im worried for the little guys. ...oh yeh i forgot to mention that they are 3-4 weeks old/young!!
Can i conquer this shit? can someone please help!!

Big Toke says chlorinate water will kill/control algae. Might be a sign that your soil is being left too wet too often. Perhaps try watering a little bit less at any one given time to avoid soaking the entire medium becuse that leaves you with less dissolved oxygen anyway.

The way 3LB's watered was a little bit at a time (of course they used no drain containers making less water even more important), but I personally think it's best to water less more often. So if your watering every two days you could probably water half as much every day and give it more dry time, more oxygen and less chance to grow algae. Its probably not a big deal either way though.

def a sign of too much moisture in the soil...

its funny... my clones were growin these little yellow spores from the soil... they turned into fuckin mushrooms!

all because of moisture... the plants were fine though

peace to you

okay thanks. Last night i covered the soil to not let light get to it and tonight ill check
for the green shit. I think its down to light, cos it only appears when there under the fluoros., But ill check and hope it doesnt reappear tonight.
