there's something you can apply for from every state, in NY state it's called a 'Certificate of Relief from Civil Disabilities' and similarly so in all the other states.

convicts, even felons have a chance to have their right to vote (& own guns) restored if they can show they've been rehabilitated.......

can i smoke pot?

Im in Ky, have a Federal conviction. Did from 97-2009 with the feds. No voting for me.

NON VIOLENT weed growing conviction. NO weapons.

Rights aren’t automatically restored.
You have to fight for them.

It’s absolutely no different than fighting to retain your Rights PREVIOUS to your conviction. The first step to restoration is asking for it.

Where mine is a Federal Conviction, the only 1 that can restore my rights is the President. Not the Guv'Nor.

They were going to let felons vote here, but Bevin rescinded the order when he came in office, but the law would not have applied to me, as mine was a crime vs USA. Not the State.
Im sure tRump is going to restore my rights.:biglaugh::clock watch::clock watch::window:
