Sure you need to check your water pH,but I can see in the pics that strange curling especially on the top leaves.
I'm having the same strange curl on my babies(http://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=140553) and i'm fighting it raising RH as high as I can.
An high % of N in the plant(the dark green of your leaves) with low RH in the air could be the cause of burned tips.
Sure I can say to check RH everyday and increase it looking if the baby start to normalize.
Thanks for the info. Nice setup btw.

you are now preflowered...still on 24/0 right
true FLOWERING occurs when you switch to 12/12
switc to 12/12 only after you fix leaks and youll be fine:joint:

How fast will I notice a change in the plant due to over watering? Because after the 3/4 of a gallon about 2 hours ago the plant has gotten a bit droopier.

OK, so I finally got myself a ph testing kit. Both the runoff and fresh water is at 5. I also picked up some other nutes. I got some 5-1-1 fish emulsion and 30-10-10 MG Azalea plant food. So when I use these do I mix them all together (proper amounts of course) or feed the plant with them separately?

I wouldn't feed until you get your PH up over 6. Who knows what nutes are in that MG soil that aren't getting taken up because of low PH. Once you fix the PH, you may notice decent growth as the plant can once again take advantage of what's already in the soil.

If you have the fish emulsion, forget about the miracle grow unless you absolutely love it and can not stand the fishy smell. Id go with the 1tsp per quart ratio (f.e.)and theyll LOVE it. But you dont need to use both.

Now that I have the F.E. should I start using it right away, or the next watering?

Thank you all for the helpful information. I can only hope that I am able to repay you all someday.

since she's already wet from all the flushing, id wait till the next watering, but let her dry out first.
Holy crap, I just mixed up some of that fish emulsion in preparation of its next watering, and I was expecting it to smell bad but in no way that bad. I'm going to go puke... at least it doesn't smell that bad once its mixed in with the water.

 and thats DE-oderized, lol. Its actually best to mix that when you need it. If it sets around for a few days it will get pretty stagnant and rank (er).

you should up the ph of your water a bit before watering. i use general hydroponics ph adjusters, but theres other things you can use also. do a search ;)

Stoneur...
Both those nutes are low on P and K and the Azalea food is especially high in N. I wouldn't use them past about the first week or so of bloom and switch to a high P and K bloom food. Too much N can actually delay flowering.

freeride, will do the next time I water.

ET, I did pick up some MG Bloom Booster, but found that it had the same exact percentages as my MG all purpose food (15-30-15). I ended up returning it. Are there different kinds of Bloom food that would be better?

pure blend pro soil+liquid Karma test PH of water before you feed soil should be 6.5-6.8. There are many others but this is what works best for me. Your Soil is important as well. I use FFOF+FFLW+Perlite+SUNSHINE MIX#2+LIME+Bat Shit all mixed up well and left to site for a few days (3) mix it up every day then use. PH testing the soil is very unreliable you need a PH pen to test the water before you use it. Most nutients will lower your PH to the 4-5 range not good you will need to raise it with ph up.

Stneur,
I grew in coco for awhile and was using Peter;s Professional bloom nutrient which is 10-30-20. That's a pretty good general purpose bloom nutrient ratio. Get something similar to that ratio, The actual ratio is what's important...not the numbers. For example 5-15-10 would be the same ratio...you'd just use a different dosage.

And then most people use a bloom booster which is something like PK 13/14 or beastie bloomz. A more concentrated P and K boost (no N) given depending on the formulation, but never earlier then week 3. Maybe some dirt guys can give you more specific advice.

Sick Girl!!!

Sick Girl!!!

Please bear with me... This is my first grow and post. I have one female plant from a bag seed that is 4 weeks into flowering. Things have been going great up until this past week.

The larger fan leaves started to show yellow spots and then brown spots. Thought it might be a problem with the nutrients or heat burn. Was thinking heat burn because two days prior I put the girl under a stronger light. So i adjusted the distance form the light.

The problem persisted. Which made me think nutrients. From seed the girl has been growing in MG moisture control potting mix. I know now that it was not the best choice. So i flushed the soil. I have added no nutrients and the problem continues.

Now I am thinking nutrient diff. But which one. The majority of the leaves are showing small yellow spots on them. Other leaves are showing larger brown splotches on them.

WHAT DO I DO?????:wallbash:
