Hashishin, good to see yaa, to funny you were thinking about it to I've already got allot of what I need (tools), my kiln taking 3-4 weeks to get here is my only delay right now but my interest isn't really in making pipes either, although I will be making them, glass art is really cool I think, allot of ways you can go and things to make out of glass, looks like an adventure?

Thats cool your at least going gaius, must be nice for you to be fairly close to A'dam I know I would like it and I hope you do enter something if you can, you'll probably win, I know I've not wanted to enter stuff in other types of comps before, but my friends encouraged me to and I won or placed high in the comp, I always felt my entries where sub-standard and would make me look bad, but I've been wrong more than once, I won 2,629 euro's ($3500.00) at one comp in software and prizes that I wasn't going to enter because I thought the competition would be to tough, but only 3 people entered and I took 2nd I know that more than a few enter the cup but you have a shot m8, just go for it.

time for some more bho fun, this time with some pretty mediocre B52 buds...i used about 10.5 g of buds and 1.5 g of bubble bud mix from before.



filling the shity quality honey bee extractor and the full tube with a few buds that wouldn't fit...



next up a shot after the initial purge after the water bath had cooled a bit.

i can't wait to start playing with these trichomes in my Kut-Vap.

i still didn't try it, lol. i still have a tinny bit from last time. i find the taste is only really clean after a few days.

that screwy honeybee has only been used 3 times and last time it leaked butane on the side where you screw the lid on. i'm pissed off about that. maybe it was my fault though. as i cut the piece of coffee filter a bit too big and it probably got in the way of the seal. still, it's annoying as it was screwed tight.

i hope to organize a glass tube at some point.

yeah glass tube is the way to go, it just need a rill around the open end so you can use those tie ups to tighten a layer of coffee filter and cheese cloth over the open end. these things could be made for small 10 g runs as well as for bigger runs.

Ok lets get right to the meat, to start with you see the results from running my block of frozen fresh WW trim 2 times.

next up we have my two favorites, the 120 and the creme de la creme the 73, this time i made sure to collect and dry them without once pressing them. i put the bubble on the pressing screen and put the screen on a wad of paper towels, this sucked off the water real good and i was able to remove the bubble real well from the pressing screens.

i did the first run totally by hand, using a large soup ladle i got that water and ice whirling around like no body's business, lol. i wanted to go for the best possible quality and thought the yield would be less, but it looks pretty darn good. and it is so sticky i love it, can't wait till it's dry. i remember when i trimmed this stuff, i got more the normal stuck on the scissors too, so i guess the good looking yield should be no surprise, lol. i worked hard enough for it. them 20 gallon bags take a whole lot of time to use properly, lol. it's not heavy work at all, but you have to be there for many hours keeping on top of it. the more bubble i make the better it seems to work. i have also found a great way to make it very easy on your back even with the bags full. mind you stirring in the 20 gallon bags by hand for 15 minutes is hard work indeed lucky that it's so worth it, hehe.

another look at the 73, first run. i need to crumble it up further, i just thought it looks great for the pics like that. what a beautiful thing it is to be able to make this wonderful hash with our trim.

That looks great Gaius btw, I made some Lou's easy hash the other day, here's how it looks, that's dry stuff given a lil flame before taking pics.. it never did go powdery for some reason, used a few grams of fresh G13 buds for that.. thinking about making a larger soup for 420..

yep, that's to smoke at the cup. if all goes well getting it there lol. i had been saving this bunch of trim for a while in the freezer. that harvest made a great amount of scissor hash too, which is ever so tasty, so i thought it might make good bubble too. the 73 is so gooey that you can't break the chunks, lol. they just bend open can't wait for it to be fully dry and ready to test. maybe today or tomorrow.

Hope you get your sailors back from iran soon, what a bunch of a** holes huh, I'm an old navy guy so I feel for them and making the girl wear that berka or what ever its called just infuriates me, a woman from australia was arrested last week and held for 2 days while on vacation in a Muslim country for not wearing the local garb, what a bunch of BS.

too right man this was the first time i did the whole mixing by hand with the giant soup ladle. it was fun, i was using the big size ladle to make the water, ice and trim real whirl around. try it once, you can make great whirlpools and strong currents go in any direction, lol. but damn it's hard work, the ice and water is heavy and the ladle i used is really big restaurant style, so i had to keep changing hands, hehe. second and third run were done with the cake mixer. third run with only the 25 and the 220 bag. check out what i got from it.

as for you rant, as ever feel free. those navy personnel do have my sympathy, as they were only doing their jobs, what ever the truth of the matter may be about their position when arrested. it looks to me like they have landed in the middle of a political power struggle. but i agree totally BS to force her to cover up, it's not like military fatigues are not decent or anything. but i guess, it's about power, at least it wasn't a black bag on her head, though.

i know it's difficult for us in the west to see, but one has to understand that those guys might well have been involved in covert ops against iran, if not them, then others. there is no doubt that irans borders have been infiltrated by special forces and info gathering specialists as well as marker placement on key targets. also covert support for anti government elements. do that in the us and see where it gets you?

not saying these navy guys were involved in any such activity, but it might well be a matter of tit for tat, as iranian diplomats have been arrested in iraq recently, so they might hope for a prisoner exchange.

i don't pretend to know who's in the right or in the wrong, but i do know that i don't trust blair one bit more then i do bush. to most europeans they are some of the biggest threats to world peace. it's a plain matter of destructive capacity and the callousness to use it for personal profit.

at least the iranians are in their own country, not making war all over the world and killing hundreds of thousands of innocent civilians, in the name of freedom no less.

it's all very well listening to rhetoric of freedom, but when one looks at actions rather then words, then the picture becomes a whole lot clearer. i wonder who has it better, the innocent man or woman in iranian custody, or the innocent man in git'mo. i remember a day when those two were not even comparable by the wildest stretch of the imagination, (custody in US or Iran, i mean). a man never had to fear his right being stripped from him in the US of the good old days. where mere suspicion was never enough to make you disappear, those things happened in communist and fascist states.

it will be interesting to hear how they were treated when they get free, don't you think?

mind you, it's terrible for their families to see their loved ones become pawns in a political tug of war. lets hope that a peaceful resolution is achieved, although i doubt it, just like iraq back in the day, there is nothing iran can do that will convince his bushiness to reconsider getting his mitts on all that black gold under iran. specially not once he gets another message from god telling him to go get ahmedinijad (sp). just like he, apparently told him to go after sadam? starting wars seems to be a new presidential hobby.

Allot of good points, and your right on all of those points to. yeah we all know bush is the worst US president ever, and world peace is at stake big time because of him, but I do see the side that says if we didn't start taking care of business it was going to haunt the US and the free world, and that others wish to impose there will on you and me and my friends and I would rather have the will of my countries ppl pushed on me than the extreme muslim way, and we certainly have our share of extremists here in the US but there not going around killing ppl because they don't think the same, but these ppl are also the bullies promoting allot of crap going on now so I guess there killers?. but yeah we are a bunch of bullies at times, I don't like it anymore than most of the ppl I know do, unfortunately I can only cast 1 vote for the way I would like things to be. but I'm interested to see how the next presidential election goes, usually after a bunch of crap like bush has pulled will see a much friendlier government?, must suck knowing that your the worst president ever huh? That 3rd run looks interesting, I've never taken it that far, usually to burned out after the second run lol, what do you think of its quality? is it worth the effort?

i haven't tried the third run yet this time. i only tried the 73 today and it's looking fine indeed, fully melty and bubbly. still very soft, even though i took the smallest pieces.

i know last time i made a few coins with the stuff from the third run and even smoked some myself in tobacco and/or grass joints. it was very enjoyable and had a kind of exotic taste as i had mixed some very old trim with some fresh frozen. what i'm saying is that it's well worth it with just the 25. i wouldn't do it with all 7 bags but with only the 25 and the 220 on top it really goes quick and even if you make it into bho or give it away, it's seems worth it. let me get a crumb and try it. oh man, just hit a one hitter in the bong, for sure it's worth it, i mean it's not like the 73 from the first run, but it still beats most hashish that is available to the general public unless they make it. all in one bag it makes a nice little pile. for an extra half hour of waiting and 15 minutes of mixing it's well worth it. i also always empty the bucket of water between runs, so that for the second and third run i am pouring the water in on top of the trim, this helps to flush the trichoms that might be lose but stuck between leaves, down to the screens to collect there. i noticed my yields for second and third run have gone up a lot since i empty the water out once the last bag is pulled and pour it back in on top of the trim. not for the first run though, lol. first run i always add 5 inches of water above the screen before adding trim, so it stops the contaminants being pushed through the screen. i love making bubble, it seems i learn some thing more every time i do it.

anyway SirMax, nice to chat with you as ever. i wish you were coming to the 420, it would be great to finally get to know the famous Sir Maximo von Bubble in the flesh

i'm sure we would have a ball and numerous bowls too. ahh well, i guess i'll have to hope you make it next year. by the way, you know that DG posted up that you don't have to give your ic handle when visiting a 420, so you could stay under the radar as Maximo if that what you wanted. i'm sure you could put together an awesome entry or two as well, if you were so inclined, lol.
