PLants from a hermie?

I did a few crosses with Lifesaver on purpose also LS x C99, C99 x LS, LS x BigBud. I'm going to try out the C99 cross it's next on the list after my MOD bx and SAG Bubbleberry are close to flowering.

Right now the Bloom room is full of str8 Lifesaver, only 2 days of 12/12.....

Nice! Lifesaver [and BOG overall!] was HUGE on here back in the day, you dont see it mentioned that much at all lately! Everything is OG kush and GDP, buncha bullshit nowadays!

Lifesaver is my favorite indica. The pheno I kept wasn't the most potent, but it has such a nice relaxing high. It eases pain away and it's one of those giggily highs too, it's really a lot of fun.

you can get some nice females from hermie seeds but the you have to plant a lot because a lot of them will be males and hermies, i would say about 25% are true females

^^^It depends on your definition of hermie. I think of a true hermie as a female plant that either a)grows male flowers on it's own with no stress issues or b)grows male flowers with very minimal stress. Obviously a male plant can hermie but for this arguement we'll ignore it.

If a plant takes quite a bit of stress like prolonged light cycle manipulation or chemical stress to grow male parts, I wouldn't consider that to be a true hermie. The seeds from this type of self pollenation should be, at a very high percentage, female.

All the selfed seeds I've made and grown out have been straight female except for a very small number of plants that have produced male flowers late in bloom.

I have tried to grow out true hermie seeds in the past and you are right, there was alot lower percentage of true females in that lot. It was one of my first grows though so environmental issues could have been a factor in that as well.
