pLANT OOZING HASH OIL

the other night i was trimming and much to my delight a ton of the bubble wreck buds were litterally oozing resin oil, my plants were hanging over a table and the table that they were hanging over had little oil droplets on the table below the hanging buds, heres a couple pics, ill try and get some more up when i have the time

Its just like when a tree get's a cut/break in it ,It seal the wound to keep infections out.
I have yet to figure why Mj plants will push it out with no wound(but will do it if you cut the stem) could be it finds a way out through the resin glands

INH

PS it could be from the amount of sugars mj plant produce.

Hi man really nice resin covered buds you got there.
Ive never heard of plants dripping hash oil before.
Could be water/nutrient stored by plant in its stem seaping out from cut stem through bud and dropping to table. A while ago i was harvesting up some plants that i had watered (flushed) right up till that morning. When id cut a cola from the plant i saw droplets of water falling from the cola stem and inspecting the stem of the plant the cola come from i could see water inside the hollow stem.
Now i usually don't water my plants for a couple of days before cutting them down.
If i were you i would seperate bud with "hash oil" on it from the rest of your hanging harvest just in case it is water which could attract mold. Mabey dry in a different area.

I N Hail hit the nail on the head, your more prone to this especially if you use stuff like molasses or carb load

Thanks for that answer, I also wondered this, I have seen this on some Apollo I bought a while ago and was puzzled, I though maybe the grower was puttin Tasty Puff on his buds cause they also smelled so damn fruity

I recently read here some where that it was an excreation from a bug i think it might have been fungus gnats the post i read said it tasted sweet then the person was bagged for eating insect poo, but i dont even know where to start looking for that threat/post
Pretty sure now this stuff is honeydew produced from aphids or similar.
Sap ain't sweet, this is. Smoke it if you thinks its resin, burns nastier than the cheapest of hashes.

What is the sticky stuff on my orchid? What is Honeydew?
Sticky stuff (also known as Honeydew) is often found on the spikes of orchids. Generally, it is a sign of a happy plant.
Some people prefer to remove honeydew because they experience some molding if they are kept under very humid conditions,
this is entirely at the discretion of the grower.
In some cases, spider mites and other stresses can cause a plant to exude a sticky subtance from the leaves.
Check thoroughly for spider mites and other critters by tapping the leaves over a piece of white paper,
But i have since read or learned that its most likely not the case

Guttation is the excretion of excess carbs and sugars and it does tend to happen when i use molasses. Looks beautiful for pictures...here's mine..inside the buds.

I thought they were a combination of bulbous amber glands, but good ol' IC heads set me straight too.

i posted pics a good year ago also stumped by this goo. In my case it was sweet like watered down sugar, id never seen it in these clines before and eventuallt put it down to insect damage to stem/ bud. Later again when harvesting different plants ive noticed the same goo when cutting through fresh non hollow stem. my guess its as said sap of sorts or an infection from bug damage but its not something ive seen often.
