Ya in this case we are saying PK= Pure Kush.
But like he said.
It can mean Purple or PInk at times.
Depends on the conversation.
But ussually without saying it ussually means Pure.
So the Pure Kush turns purple.
I didn't know this.
Thats good to hear.
People love purple buds that actually get you high.lol

O.K. well it seems that I have my signals crossed a bit as I was talkin' wit Suge about the P.K.S.D. and he said that I was wrong that these were not made with Rez's SD IBL, but is an S1 made by reversing his PK and breeding it to the E.C.S.D.(East Coast Sour Diesel) Clone. He also said that in Swerve's Mum thread on page 2 he chimed in to let Swerve know exactly what he had, and if I knew how to I would cut and paste it!LOL But I don't so you guys can go look or somebody else cut and paste it on this thread for me. He said something about sending you 2 different phenos of the P.K.S.D. S1's.

suge sent me the sour d pheno of the pkXsd cross. im still unclear how pure kush turns purple.. as the real pk we ahve here in the sfv is nice and green and coated in trichs with rich dark red ahris.. i ahve never seen purple pure kush. im sorry. doesnt make sense. but anyway. im still at a loss for words as he sent me all these cuts together nothing labels some made it some died. so which is which i dunno except for what was harvested and smoked and from the looks the pkxsd is what he told me and the pure kush well was just that pure kush so im confused now rudeboi.. or grohard or whatever. hit me back in the pm so we can figure all this out. .

Hey Swerve, I don't know about the PK yer gettin' right now but while I was out there the Pure Kush always had hints of purple color but not a tremendous amount of color. Wanna know why? Just like with Suge's cut in order to get that sick ridiculous color Suge gets you have to let it go like 75+ days!Ouch, While PK is ready to most peeps and extremely good @ 56-60 days with a slight to moderate purple thing happening that can also be drastically affected with temp. But the PK naturally does it regardless of temp with TIME, but most commercial growers are not gonna wait 2 extra weeks to not get any extra weight, they figure that's 2 weeks closer to the next harvest. Can't argue with the bottom line, it just is what it is, it's a matter of supply and demand and with this being an illegal/illicit activity to most of us, an 8 week crop in the hand, is better than a 10 week possibility of more color! But I do insist it is most definitely the same tasty as dank ass Socal Pure Kush. BTW Socal MasterKush tastes also similar to Pure Kush/Bubba and often times has hints of purple that would suggest that it too could become a serious, serious purple color if it were given the right circumstances. I believe it was Catmanrob who spoke about gettin it from the father of Woody Harrelson, he's absolutely right and really scared me cuz, I have a friend who DJ's for Perry Farrell, and he's real close to Woody Harrelson's brother, and to make a long story longer, I got introduced to "Hippy Steve" from Venice Beach, and lets just say I've smoked that same Socal MasterKush he's talkin' about and it's the BOMB!! Another cut that I can get that I really need to make a priority to have. Anyways I went on another one of my rants but damn Bro, why you got put a Brutha on front street about Grohard! word brutha i got what you are saying my friend ...i know amster can and ahs a tendency to go purple.. i feel waht youa re saying then about letting it go long for the color the pk was pciked at 60days so would make sense huh.. well we will see then as these bitches will hit 70+ easily as i let my purple kush go that long if not longer to get the full purple color from her and the deadly indica hit she so diligently has..sorry bout calling you out my friend no pun intended just tryn to figure this all out... no worries we caht and chill my friend

Most strains will turn purple if the temp is low and you over flower.
My Bubba Kush turned a crazy purple redish green color.
All the colors swirl together.
It's really cool looking.
Mysta took some pic's last time he was here.
So he should post them soon.
Some of the lower buds were almost fully purple with lines and hints of red and darker purple.

haha my friend came over today with this weed, its ok i guess he get totally blasted but when you smoke the purple all day not much compares. jdog, rudeboi it could be anything. so many people have made this cross in some way or another. hell even i made one few years back, but it needed some extra zing so i crossed it to a extremely smelly and well structured mexican male. I do agree with you though if you make the strain you got rights, BUT theres no stopping dumb people for naming it something else and calling it this or that to make some extra cash. thats how it is now days, we just have to deal with it.

if temps are low and low ph can make almost any strain go purple its not hard at all. some strains get so purple its almost black. ive had some purple pure k but the green pure is always better, but personally the pure lacks complexity in the high. your just stoned and thats it. anyone else notice that?

It's more about the taste then anything.IMO

here's my first PDK I've grown out. I agree with all the comments about it's robustness--it roots faster and veges faster than anything else i have. this is 4 weeks into flower, beginning to smell very kushy.

The PKxSD is definatly a beautiful plant to grow and a decent yielder. somewhat lacking in the smell and taste dept for me but still has a good above average high.
I did nothing to bring on all this color, had 6 other plants in the same cab getting the same nutes and the pksd was the only one to color up like this

Pothead.... NICE pics. I have PKxSD, abusive and purple kush all at three weeks flowering. 7-8 weeks to go and then i will see if these kushes are really the "strongest weed in the world." Everywhere I read says that the peuple kush is the strongest of all the kushes. Can any of you hardcore kush smokers comment on that??

KUSHEATER1 I took mine at 64 days, I wanted to go longer but I needed the space bad and she looked done, definatly a growers plant, mine took a ton of abuse, really enjoyed grow it.

BUDDY BOY well I dont think I've heard anyone say the kushs are the stongest in the world, I can tell you I have no idea what the best weed in the world taste like cause I havent smoked it yet, but I can say pkush isnt it, its got a hell of a kick and the taste is coming around for me but I like the ECSD I grew next to it better at the moment...
