Exactly. Not to mention being able to take a pull off the unlit j and taste the freshness of the herb. I always loved that. But I guess there's a time and place for each method.

Thanks for stopping by guys! Gotta love a good loaded nachos.... Once you go loaded you never go back... I don't think I could manage to eat any foods plain anymore... 
Enjoying some Ale 8 and some hometown pizza... Got the family deal so its not quite as loaded as I'd like, but 2 toppings will do the trick...
Got the vegetable garden tilled up today.. Started mid to late morning and didn't get done until twilight... Whew what a long day.... Takes a while to open up the garden, but now, she churns pretty easy until it rains.... 100 lbs of plant tone applied to 2275 sq. ft.... Usually I just band fertilize each row and till it in, but this time I did a broadcast... Wonder if there will be much difference? Before I was thinking put the fertilizer where the plant is, not in between rows... Now that I'll be using plastic mulch, fertilizing weeds won't be a problem... Now the roots can find fertile ground anywhere. More root mass means more yield hopefully.... I have plenty of plant tone so I'll be following the label more closely this year... top dressing 12 lbs per 100 ft once a month... Hoping for big yields...
Still haven't planted the bulk of the seed. It will be planted in 1-2 days... NOW is the time...
Joints are nice for getting that smooth perfectly balanced smoke with each draw... The flavors come out a little different. Seems to be a good representation of the smoke... The bad thing is it makes your fingers smell, and there is also a lot of wasted smoke I think. A clean pipe really gives you that great flavor all the way to the end of the pipe if its lit on the side...

for the poll id have to say the pipe and the joint are a tie for me, ur point of the smelly fingers and alot of waste in a joint is true but joints are good when theres you and a mate or two, good social session haha.

I really love a good joint when it's rolled in a super-thin hemp paper. My lungs aren't what they used to be with 20 years of tobac going through them. (I've quit now)
After 25+ years I voted for pipe. I'm hoping to prefer the pills I'll be making soon.

Thanks guys! It is nice to pass around a J with a group of friends. Most people in my opinion don't know how to properly smoke a pipe... Its an artform I tell ya... I like to smoke a little less than a J usually.. Last time I went to roll one it kept ending up a mini bomber... Still love the little bombers though...
I've always been curious how effective hash pills are... Its uncooked resin, but its got to be quite a bit? How much goes in each capsule, Hydro?

hey pipe! just checked the garden, one male and one female NHU x DC. chopped the guy, don't need him and have no intention on making seeds right now. last try at that had seeds popping out of shit that didn't need to get pollinated.
as far as a smoking device goes, i like fat hooters. nothing like a big joint to end or start the day as well as a mid-day snack. Club Bistro papers or Element papers, real thin and burn smooth. i also like rolling bs with swishers as well. every seasoned smoker should be able to roll for sure.

Hey soxx! Good to hear ya got a female! Can't beat a good fattner though... Not such a big fan of blunts. I don't like any tobacco products in there... Thin papers are where its at IMO...

Uncooked hash will definitely get you smashed.
The pills will be heat activated though.
I'm planning on doing a long butane extraction to get maximum yield (since I won't be smoking it, who cares). That extraction will be heated with olive oil or possibly some other oil in a double-boiler for 15-20 minutes.
I'm still working on what I'll be using for the powder to absorb the oil but arrowroot, st. Johns wort and ground leaf should do the trick.
The pills won't have a long shelf life without refrigeration or freezing but that's fine by me. I'll be keeping the extracts frozen until use anyway.
Your guess is as good as mine as to how much will be ending up in each pill. I've just been cautioned to go really light on the first few until the dosage is known. Eating too much is not considered 'fun' so I'll be looking to avoid it. LOL
Edit: I'll also be taking these for anxiety so pretty much 24/7. I imagine the dosage will be much lower than recreational dosage for me. Probably fun for someone else though. LOL

Stacked a brood box on the hive this evening just before sun down... They were so happy, none of them even batted an eye... Was no problem!
Heres the hive before it got the brood box. Snapped this shot just after getting the garden tilled and fertilized a few days ago. Thank goodness I got it done, cuz it is raaaaaaaaaaainy!
Planted the NHU x DC and (Eroc x DP) x DC into Anderson 3 inch square tall containers... Trying a few veggies in them as well... I'll try and get a couple shots of them tomorrow. Heres some from planting.
Kept running out of time in good sun so a warm spectrum cfl will do....
