Piney Tasting Strains...Which are the best?

Hey Greens...I am about to flower a strain called Calyxxx from Almighty Seeds. It is Friesland x Grapefruit x an oldschool Humbolt. That is how it is described by Almighty. Hopefully some of that pine taste comes out in it. Glad to know the Friesland has a pine taste. Thanks for the info.

Hey aeric...Thanks for posting. I was kind of thinking it was a skunk. I used to get this before I ever grew or really knew about strains so I have no idea what it was really. I do know it was grown in PA so I don't know how well a skunk would do here maturity wise.(It was grown outside) I used to work with a guy whose cousin grew it, so I do know these details. It was always fairly dense, but not rock solid or anything. This could be due to it not being able to fully mature or just not getting full sun...? It was pretty bright green, not too many hairs as I recall. Just a really full bodied taste, not menthol, but really piney. Best taste I ever had. Glad to see so many other people have the same interest. Let's find the "Super Pine" clone and make it available somehow,lol.aeric said:

This strain is the indoor version of Donkey Dick and one of West Coast Seeds best sellers. This is a short plant with long buds and it usually has one fat single cola. Killer piney smell and taste.
Indoor 8-10 weeks
Outdoor Flowering early Sept
Yield 1/2 to 1 lbs
Flower Time: 8-10 weeks
The DD on it's own is described as a skunky taste, so I'm assuming the piney taste is coming from the MM like we thought.

I see the pine tar kush in the weekend specials section on www.seedbay.com says "some say it has a juicy fruit flavor" in the description, but doesn't mean there arn't any piney phenos I guess. Anyway good luck with your search..

romulan, delishious pine taste that almost has a little hazey taste in it, nice dense nugs that are potent as hell.

Raco...Thanks for the second opinion of the Pine Tar. You would think by the name it's gotta be piney, but after what Mister Postman said about it I had second thoughts. If you don't mind filling me in, did you grow from seeds you purchased or from a clone. I guess I just want to know where I can get the same thing you got if it wasn't gifted to you. Looks great by the way.

ATF when growing its more of a cedar wood type smell, but dry and when you smoke it, has that pine taste 
i just got a nice bag of cali-o nice taste bery piney/ citrus. and the high.... christ may be the stongest shit ive ever smoked or atleast up there 
the high lasts and lasts and its a complete mind bender. this is the only weed i have completly blacked out on and not remembered what happened before and i have never even blacked out from alcohol (and i have drank alot of alcohol in the past).
