I was just about to mention Deep Chunk. But since you stole my idea I'll have to say some sort of Afghani, boost the high duration, boost/keep resin production, and I think the hashy taste would mingle well. SD is already a fairly long flowering plant, so harvest time shouldn't be affected much.

I've already done these:
SD x Super Silver Haze = Super Silver Sour Diesel Haze
SD x C99 = Galadriel
SD x Kali Mist = Sour Mist
And they came out Top Shelf,Highest Quality!

....Imo go with your Sour Diesel Clone against something like Romulan,and see how the two 'meet in the middle',it should be very interesting.

Through time I've been reading allsorts about sour diesel and I think it might be some real good weed.
If you wanna pimp your mom, then you’ve got to impress her with an African short flowering fruity sativa. Maybe also good for a wonder, but without the fruity part~> Maroc (female seeds). For those who loves an indica influence, I would choose something unusual for pimping : Double Fun.
Could you tell by my choice I grow only outdoors ?

hey Ol thats some funny !!! you did tell me that!! i'm still laughin a bit .gotta get some romulan after some other things come to fruition. 'O thanks for the good outdoor possibilities ...for those with the shorter growing seasons especially i even thought about mixing in some autoflowering possibilities ... but someone some where down the line might end up with a possible recessive exposure of low potency 'rudy and that has happened in my experience ..... i wanted to just poop on it . so don't know abbout that one ... ya know ? thanks again for adding your thoughts in here . i hope at some point to be able to make an attempt at many diff crosses ... cus i do lovee cannabis ... and apparently y'all do too . manyblessings , hidingtree

Romulan is a great strain. I'm crossing the Federation Rom to the Dog clone. A pal and I were just smoking the Sour last night and he reminded me that the Romulan was a lil stronger. I agree with Orange, lots of potential here. Look for the more sativa style plants.

my ECSD x DC seeds are about 30 days from being done, altho i'll probly leave them a lil longer to be sure. I can't wait to see how those turn out..

I'll be hitting the ECSD with some Paki IBL pollen aswell, i think it will have some great potential.

as far as crossing with the ECSD i would try to use something with as much indica in it as possible, so you can see the differences in phenos a lil more in the 1st gen. makes it easier to go further with a project..

But i would look for something with strong branching, very little stretch, potency, and resin production.. speaking of which i think i'll have to slap the ECSD with some Blockhead pollen aswell.

LUI, Maple Leaf Indica, mikado, Black DOmina, Sensi Star, Master Kush, Hindu Kush.. this is the area i would start with. good luck, i'm sure it'll turn out pretty good no matter what u hit her with, and u should find somethng pretty special in a population of 25-50 beans, if not, i'd try another cross.

I couldn't find Reefer's Rom anywhere but found RomBerry (fem ) so Fed Rom it is just started 10 to cross to my SD ibl.. Hopefully Gypsy gets some RM Romulan in or at least his new Romberry1.1
