Stress and shock are highly overrated unless you mutilate the plants roots while transplanting. They really suffer very little if at all when done right. Now watch them explode in new growth. Have fun! And you should always water new transplants, not sure where people get that by not watering it stops shock????? Plants wont go into shock if you don't abuse them.....

Yes, the "no watering" thing. I was told that by the guy who inspired me to grow. But I remember my mother repotting everything from tomatoes to house plants and she always watered immediately afterwards. It just seems to make sense to me to water them. I did, and as I said, they look great. Every night I get excited for lights on, at 12:01am to see the new growth, and how they have responded to the LS training.

The Alaskan just after transplant into 10 gal. I have since gotten rid of the huge white buckets, and found some shallow clear plastic drip trays.

Day 21 veg pictures

Getting bushy, flower phase to start soon. I took a couple of clones as an experiment. I have never done anything like this before, so I am anxious to see if I can have success.
One is an Alaskan ThunderF**k and the other a NY Skunk Diesel.

cab 4"x2" with 300w cfl's

cab 4"x2" with 300w cfl's

Hi Everyone:wave:
Well this is my first post on IC as only just joined. I've grown for years on and off. "more on" Anyway this is the first time i've used such a small area or cfl's too. "i think Dr Buds thread and afew other got me thinking lol" So 4"x2" split in half 2"x2" for veg and 2"x2" for flowering with 300w cfl in each. With cuts every two weeks growing in 2 litter bottle cut in half. and 5 rows of 5 cuts which has been giving me 5 grams dry per cut every two weeks:jump: . So now im going to up size abit and use the 4"x2" for flowering giving me 10 rows of cuts and a new mother box. I've been thinking about the best way of lighting this area any ideas or comments i would love to hear them especially if they help with bigger yields. Thanks for looking and be lucky.:tiphat::joint:

Red, throw them under the 400 watt now, keep the distance at about 36in on 18/6 light cycle and slowly move the light closer over the next week or so.
This will reduce stretch, increase growth and rooting.
Your soil seems a little dry in the pics also as its pulling away from the sides of the pot.

wow they are blowing up! if you can add more light like lokes said it would really increase growth rate, but if not dont stress too much. if i were you i would take the time and practice taking clones. this is a skill that all good growers need. there are many different techniques to cloning, find one that works and clone the shit out of your plants. once you have a few clones of each plant start flowering. this way you will have backups and if you want, you can keep the moms and flower out the clones once they have rooted and had 2-3 weeks of veg.
keep doing what your doing, they are looking great
