Ok tomorrow i'm gonna be getting supplies and hopefully do all the woodcutting and maybe get it assembled once, but i'll have to break it down again and take it to the grow location. I'm thinking the entire cabinet is going to cost somewhere between $150 and $200 including the light.

Yeah it's about 47" tall 40" wide and 24" deep. I actually am using it as my entertainment center. Not very good size if you plan to have a ton of people over, but i NEVER have anyone in my grow area.

Prolly an easy light trap for the two rooms is to use one of those dark room vents... It was discussed on this forum a few days ago

Grats on your build.... By chance think you can zip and post those files so I can look at them... I am currently building a cab in SW as well (2006 sp1) be intersted in comparing notes/drawings. My current design is using the precut 2x4 sheets of 1/2" (5/16") plywood... I may scrap that idea and go with MDF... dunno yet

what would change or suggest on your build?

Well if i needed more stealth i would definitely reduce the size. For sure about a foot or two in height and maybe half a foot or so in depth. Width wise it's good though. Also if money was no limit i would have gotten some really nice wood so it looks nice on the outside. And i would definitely use a table saw if i had one, but i only had a circular saw so the doors are kinda off, but it still seals up nice.

I'm still kind of working on it (putting on weather stripping, i wanna paint the outside) so i'm still deciding on what i do and don't like. I'll actually be doing a whole write up and adding it to the COGP (PDF) in the link in my sig. I probably won't be able to do the write up for a couple weeks to a month because i'm overloaded with school, sorry i can't get you the info sooner.

Had some problems with mites, but the cabinet is still running fine. Even with 100 degree days the veg and flower chambers only 89 degrees or so.

Thanks sniffs! I added a link to my grow journal on the first post of this thread for any future visitors. You can still post questions about the cabinet if you have them though.
