What he said - judging from the pics and my experience with it.

Whatever it is, sorting out the mediums ph/runoff and getting it to the optimal range is what you should always do first, then see if they get better is best imo.

ok thanks guys,

I flushed an hour ago, before reading these posts, I gotta run to work soon...

My tap water is reading 5.5 to 6.0 if even.... so I used a little ph up to get it to 6.8 or 7 area.... I hope I didn't mess up big time... I wonder why my tap water is so low??

the run off was super yellow until I was close to being done then it was nice and clear.

the run off ph was super acidic in the beginning, making the strip almost white!! But by the end the strips were still yellow but with a hint of green.

I will water again when they need it with tap water adjusted, does this sound right?

Thanks for all the help, I hope this flush, and me understanding Ph, helps my plants out

Hey Closet_Grower  Thats great, runoff being clear is great and ph being yellow with a hint of green should be between 6.5 and 7 ph. :woohoo:
I would keep an eye on your plant carefully at old growth and new until you need to water again and yes, please post new pics.

ok thanks guys....

what should my ph be for water and nute mixtures going into my soil? Im in sunshine organics (soilless)

like basically what is my target ph? some have told me 6.0 and some say 6.5 or 6.8...

I will post some pics tomorrow.... and how soon should I notice a change if this worked... or will it be more like weeks?

thanks again for all the help, your saving a rookies grow, hopefully.... but the ladies might be looking better, maybe im just seeing things I wanna see....

i have exactly the same prob , i just switched from canna terra to try a new westlands pluss soil , every thing isdark green with twisted tips pointing up , just like the pics in this thread but worse , it must have potsium locked soil ..... flowers are small , ph goin it at 6.8 and coming out at 5.2 , not had to deal with stuff like this for years , fun though , its a bitch to flush 76 small pots by hand in a tent . but i will be doin it today , will take some before and after pics ,

i did use some cal mg , but did shit , thought at first it was a cal dif , but i am 100% sure its patasium , so i am getting a bottle of single eliment patasium from canna , see who it goes
