Smoke Report

Time to do a Smoke Report on my right hand man SilverBack's Reeferman's SourDxOGkush and I must put in this was %100 Organic for all of us semi synthetic motherfu(kers lol.

2 week cure so not anywhere near fully cured but good enough for a smoke report.

First off the odor on these nugs are profound but not what you would expect, from the parents Sour Diesel and OG Kush I was expecting a scent resembling one of the two or a mixture of both I was completely Fooled this herb which either by its Genetics or by how it was grown (and maybe the organic ingredients used), which was well done and dialed in to a T. Now the Smell reminds me of AK-47 extremely Earthy-Woodsy-Thai-Think Thanksgiving Dinner.
The taste is the exact same as the smell very thick and robust and you can taste the earthtones, the taste is very strong and pleasing and unique, think of a Lager maybe Guinness because of the robustness/heartiness/thickness. The high while not couchlock is very strong and full bodied you know your stoned but you dont feel up or down more of a warmth and good feeling found myself more than a few times remarking on how even bodied and Warm i felt overall which is a highly desirable trait to have in herb. Really I haven't felt this feeling to often with most of the herbs I smoke their is either a major good feeling energy rush of a Sativa or the knock down couchlock Indica but really nothing in between, and if something did fall in between then it was deemed not strong enough or not up and racy enough more of a Blah. Now I love Sativas and being UP and I love the Indicas and being super relaxed and I have yet to find and Sativa/Indica combo or Indica/Sativa Combo out that can accomplish this perfect harmony with this being such a high feet to accomplish honestly. But I must say this herb hit me dead center not up not down but dead center in a fabulous way not boring now this was expertly grown but my ? is . . . . . . was this the Strain reacting this way or because of the Organic nature in which the herb was grown of a combo of both or neither. Very Curious to say the least

Here got the Ladies at day 26 I will do some individual pics on day 30 they are really looking good and you know I like to push them to the limit fert wise and must highly suggest after my 3rd time running it, Monster Bloom 0-50-30 incredible stuff best bloom enhancer I have ever used even better than the advanced nutrients Big Bud and Fox Farm Beastie Bloomz which is also 0-50-30 the Monster Bloom is simply more effective in early budset and it also is used throughout flower until the last 3 weeks used every other water.
Some of the ladies have a tad bit of burn but that is on the old leaves they have been flushed and new leaves are just fine, feeding time is a beast I give the ladies 3 different nute regimens because I am dealing with 10 strains and they really do have different nutritional needs at different times.

Update

Day 33
well here we go

PURE KUSH

these ladies have exhibited those most vigor from the beginning, the odor is too perfect for me to describe right now so I will try and wait until the 40s or 50s to make an accurate odor assessment. She started turning purple at about day 27 usually I am used to purple plants having the fan leaves turn purple first then the buds the opposite on all of these the buds are rapidly turning purple while the fans are sloooowly turning purple

Pretty Much ditto as above for these lovely Grape Ape These ladies are much more squat than the Pure Kush the odor is definitely the Purple Candy/Purple Kool Aid, these gals buds started turning purple at day 23

Here go the CF wonderkind OG Kush x Abusive Kushaze (SSH x OG KUSH) def the most squat plant in the garden, I fell in love with her on my last run and she had to come back for more until somebody else knocks her out of the way :bashhead: . Obviously a very heavy yielder :jump:

BCBD PURPS

Starting to lose the mutated look but still a rather odd looking plant. The buds are purple, while I remain optimistic I really just wanted to see if BCBD could pull off a legitimate purple connoisseur grade variety, I cant say yet nor will I until smoked but it has a pleasant aroma that is Purplish but more of a heavy fruity buds mixed slightly with a purple fragrance.

Bubba Kush x Abusive Kushaze (SSH x OG Kush)

My current favorite until her title gets taken :headbange

word philly, looking a-ok !
i cant wait to run your philly bubba, if that what you want to call it, she's your cut.
let me know what to call her, besides beautiful :D
ill be throwing those 4 or 5 in real soon.

UPDATE DAY 33 :jump:

PRE 98 BUBBA KUSH

very very oily and the odor is very intense obviously KUSH smell. As I have read, these ladies do not look to be as big of a yielders as most of the others honestly at this stage these nugs are the smallest and the development the slowest although highly highly highly resinous, I am really expecting a super knock out stone, when you touch the leaves or the nugs your fingers dont turn sticky like touching the rest of the plants (touching for experiments/my knowledge . . ) When you touch these ladies your fingers become immediately glassy I mean a slippery glassy. I dont think I have enough of a base to explain this phenomenon but it is boggling to me in a good way.

KALI MIST

OOOOOOHHHH YEEEEAAHH  :hotbounce this is one of those Holy Grails out their for me right along with the most of the others on this run only difference is I have yearned for this to grow/smoke/ador for over 10 yrs and I swear this is one of those watered down pollen chucked Kali Mist varieties this is the real deal from back in the day when I first heard of and smoked the infamous Kali Mist now she may be a cross or she may be pure but the smell is unmistakable one light wiff and boy, and she also seems to be putting on much more weight than I was expecting.

BPP aka Strawberry Diesel x Abusive Kushaze (SSH x OG KUSH)

This lady is well documented in this thread so I will not  got to love her . . . . only thing is even after being topped these gals still turned out to be the tallest in the garden by far

SSH SUPER SILVER HAZE

really was not expecting it but this has turned out to be the grand champ of the garden (to me) , Now I have found out this is not just the ordinary SSH this is from Greenhouse circa 96 ( SSH took the HT Overall Cup in 96-97-98) I swear as an avid uptown Haze Pif fan/groupie this is probably the closest I will get to having the Piff Haze of magical/legendary/mythical glory. And for those who dont believe it, oh the PIF does exist and once you have had it you will fall in line just like a Kushhead. Not to say this is the piff or even close to it but for I the odor of this strain and the manageable flowering time is something I will never let go of :joint: :fight: :smoker: :YaRight: :ying:
these gals also look to be much much heavier yielders than I was expecting.

Cocktail Frank

Thanks bro, you allready know bro we dont call ya the boss for nothing.
how about PA BUBBA HAZE
as the new name on that Bubba Kush x ABK, I never wanted to overstep my bounds with naming rights but since you gave the word. Thanks bro :rasta:

Last but not least to say the least of the DAY 33 UPDATE

Sour Diesel IBL

I must say I really didnt know what I was getting into with these gals, I guess I wasnt as amped up about these as some of the others because I have smoked soooo much Sour Diesel over the years commercially and although incredibly great tasting potent herb I guess I was anticipating some of the others to be more outstanding because I had not either smoked them or smoked them in a long time/very much. I was completely taken off guard with how kind and dank + heavy yielding + ridiculous odor
she goes toe to toe or heel to heel with anygal in the garden in terms of vigor/aroma/ease of growth even though she is a yoga stretcher.

This was one of my favorite grows to watch through, some good tips in here. Beautiful looking plants you have there!!! Do you mix anything else into the pro mix?

pthway4-looks like your gals are really coming along good job, if you are using any ferts with chems in them you are going to have to do a thorough flush (Do you have a PPM meter?), either with plain water or with a flushing agent ie (Final Flush, ClearX, FloraKleen, etc.... ) they really do help speed up the flushing process, you see I push my ladies really hard I mean the run offs are allways safe and below what I put in but I do try and push them to the max saying that, I try and flush with plain water no nutes after 40-50 days depending on the strain which gives me a 21 day/3weeks of a good flush before harvest since most strains I deal with are done anywhere from 65-85 days, but typically the Sativas require less nutes anyway so it is good to stop nutes in the 40s to 50 days even if you are going to take them around 80 Sativas like a good flush, even when using flushing agents, I have found flushing to be one of the biggest factors in the growing process if not the biggest for those of us who use nutes.

busterbunny-Thank you for the kind words, I try and use Pro Mix HP but most times am forced to use Pro Mix BX only real difference is the HP has more perlite. I add a cup of perlite per gallon pot all of my indica gals (Pure Kush, Grape Ape, etc ....) are in 6 gallon pots, the Sativas (SSH, Kali Mist, SD IBL) are in 3.8 and 2.3 gallon pots. It is important to find out exactly what size are your pots most times the grow stores have them labeled wrong, use should use a conversion chart because on the bottom of most pots it says the actual size in liters. This is important so that you use enough/not to much perlite. I also add EWC (Earth Worm Castings) to my mix on a ratio of 6 gallon pot 3 cups of EWC. Doing such I have found gives them enough N during Veg to last 2-3 weeks and doesnt leave the soil too hot. Enabling you to use a grow nute during late Veg giving you more control over the soil, if you add EWC at the rate of a cup per gallon I have found you cannot feed any nutes for risk of burning the soil for atleast a 3 to 5 weeks after transplant, for some this is fine but for me I like more control during Veg and Early Flower over their nutes especially since I use Bloom Enhancers during flowering ie Chems

It's a jungle in there Philly! Don't get lost LOL.
InjectTruth: That's a nice looking plant you've got there. What strain is that. looks like some killer smoke dude.

:D :D :D

Vint-
Thats my very own accidental strain that I am oh so proud of, Her Majesty.
A friend in PA got his dads stash kit when he got old enough. In the kit, there were old beans from Brazil, where his dad grew up.

Out of 20 or so seeds, only 5 popped. All 5 were males, and due to my friends lackadaisical attitude, they pollinated my nirvana white rhinos. They resulting seeds were saved, and popped to fill a space. We saw some funky phenos (ill find pics) but didnt take clones or reveg. I still had a ton of seeds though.

Part 1 concluded. TO BE CONTINUED

So a few years go by, and I needed to fill a space again, lol, so I popped some seeds. I noticed some female flowers a week or two in to flower, and clipped the lower nodes to clone.

And so Her Majesty was born!

She is Nirvana White Rhino (fem) x 20+ year old Brazillian bag seed (male).

She is purely genetically purple in any temperature. The buds smell and smoke very much like the white rhino mother, with a grapey flavor and clear, cerebral high, with the father contributing overall bud/plant structure and color stabilization (the white rhino had purple hues).

She finishes in 60 - 65 days, but I suspect she may have some "harvest windows". I will experiment letting some clones go longer to see if they burst forth with new growth.

This is how she behaves in the first 60 days, looking ripe around day 40 - 45 as my indicas start ripening, but then around day 50 - 55 as the indys are fully ripe, she starts blowing up, growing calyxes on top of calyxes. Before you know it, the plant that was "ripe" a week ago is once again covered in white pistils! So here she is, in all her glory:

Sorry for the gratuitous jack, Philly. If there is any way I can repay you for the adspace, just holler!:rasta: :rasta: I am drooling over your SSH! Thanks for all the in depth info on your container sizes and methods, it will help me emulate your dank results!
