The re-vegging plant I had got spider mites so she was banished to the outside and surprisingly is still alive and doing well. Will probably bring her back indoors when the PCD is done and finish her up. Doesn't look as good as it could have been but I got plenty of clones off her and will probably just make bubble from the plant.

Harvest day today. Day 56 of flower, trichs are all cloudy with small amounts of amber creeping in. Could probably go for a couple more days but I've got to move this week and todays really the only free day I have, plus I prefer a more head focused high. She's pretty damn frosty and the smell has developed into a cherry and fresh dough smell, not over powering but very nice none the less. Here's a couple shots I've taken in between trimming breaks (she was a bit leafier than I prefer as I dislike trimming)

Thanks mate. I think I'm starting to get this whole LED thing. I'm pretty happy with yield at chop, but can't wait to see what the final weight is. Pretty cold out here at the moment though, probably be a couple weeks till we'll know. Took a small bud sample a few days back and dried in the hot-water closet for a couple days, turned out rather nice a small bong load definitely did the job, can't wait for the final product.


Funny side note, I'd finally decided to search the seed co. my mate got these from (Garden of Green) and they list this strain as a mostly sativa strain (75% S to 25% I). Can't really see that, it had wide leaves the whole grow, was rather compact, hardly stretched, and the genetic makeup is pretty indica dominant, aside from the Durban that sits way back in the Phantom Cookies genetic makeup (if that's even what it is). Either way it's come up pretty nice for an unknown seed company with dubious marketing.

Final update

Final update

Finally have the time to do the last update for this grow. Have moved and am in the middle of starting a new job so time is fleeting at the moment.


Pretty happy with the final result, the bud is very nice and dense, holds a nice sweet cherry smell with a dankness lingering underneath it all, is becoming more sour smelling as she cures. Taste is similar to the smell. The high is very nice, relaxing and in the body, starts in the head and relaxes through out the rest of the body slowly. Doesn't have a ceiling that I can find yet, smoke too much and it'll put your ass to sleep or sitting on the couch trying to figure out what those moving shapes on the TV are doing. Weight of the final plant was about 130g, I had 9g that developed a bit of mold so chucked that, but even the small buds were usable. All up I got roughly a quarter pound off one plant under 320w of LED light, one month veg only, not a bad result. Have started a new run of 6 of these girls in the same tent under the same light. Will start a journal on that grow once I've flipped to flower as veg grows are boring picture wise.



Here's a final shot of the 6 top nugs, dried and awaiting their final trim, they sat at about 45g.
