ph run off

After watering my Hashberry today i checked the ph of what came out the bottom and it was 5.0
The water i gave them was phd' with white vinegar to 6.5
The soil is from Walmart called experts choice pro mix.
I am suffering from excessive lose of lower fan leaves so Im on a hunt for the problem. Could this be my problem? And if so, how do i fix it?

2 teaspoon's dolimite lime per gal soil and after a few waterings your plants should start to recover. the garden dolimite lime helps keep the soil's PH stable at 7.0-7.2 dosent matter the ph of the water being used. so water PH'd at 6.5 after dolimite lime would show runoff at approx 7.0-7.2

The plants need to be flushed with water pH'ed at 6.5. Use 10X as much water as the plant containers are big. When you finish flushing your plants water them with 1/2 strength food and wait till they are dry to start watering normally again.

little excessive isnt this on overgrow when it was up and here on icmag the general feeling on flushing is 3-5 times water to soil. 1 gal soil gets 3-5 gal water also when you flush a plants soil like this its because theres a serious nute deficincy. his description dosent seem to warrant a flush of his soil seems more like his soils PH has droped through the preverbial floor. so 2 tsp per gal soil dolimite lime as top dressing of the soil then gently watered into the soil will fix his soils PH problem. a flush could possibly make his problem way worse resulting in the nuterients being locked out of the root zone.

i have a question for Elve how your light penertration to the lower parts of the plants.

although my assumption with his soils PH being so low dolimte lime is whats in order. alot of soil comes PH ballanced 5.5-6.5 i'll bet the wallyworld soil dose also my Fox Farm Ocean Forrest comes ballanced.

Maj., i agree, 10x bucket volume is way excessive, especially since i have them in 5 gal buckets! Im on my way out for some dolomite this aftrenoon and will follow your recommened dosage.
Funny you ask about my light penetration, i too was wondering if that was a contributing factor. I have 6 plants under a 600w (5 hashberry and 1 blueberry) so it is crowded in there. And i let the hashberry veg alittle longer than normal so they got knda big.
Ill post an update after a few waterings, Thanks Maj.Pothead!

take a look at your plants i would remove any branchs 18 inch below canopy also i remove a few larger fans in the mid section of the plant that block light from perertrating. if you dont want to trim and thin some i suggest a few cfl's around the lower parts of the plants to help with lighting.

so if i have lime in my soil.. the water going in to 6.5? my nues buff it to 6.0 exactly and i always raise it to like 6.5 or so with ph up. would be nice to knwo i dont need any ph up
