Says ph balanced on the soil bag and I think in the ingredients it mentions dolomite lime. So, the mix probably does not need additional lime. But, you might add more to supply more calcium and magnesium. Try 1 tablespoon per gallon addtional lime. Ideally, you should add lime to a small batch of soil at the same ratio. Wet. Wait a week. Test the soil ph using my directions in my signature. I take 3 or 4 cups and use different lime rates on a batch of soil that I am mixing. Then, pick the best lime rate. Remember, soilless mixes like the one you are creating need a ph of 5.6 to 6.2 to work well. This is kinda low in ph. You can always add more calcium and magnesium later by using 1/4 teaspoon (1.25ml) powdered gypsum + 1/4 teaspoon (1.25ml) epsom salts per gallon (3.8L) of water along with your regular fertilizer. Sulfur is important to plants. Powdered gypsum at 1 3/4 Tablespoon (26ml) per cubic foot(28L) or 3/4 teaspoon(3.75ml) per gallon (3.6L) of soil could supply this. Better to underlime than overlime because you cant get lime out of the soil after planting.
