Stepinrazor, looking great!! You guys are doing an awesome job. Great choice by going with biobizz. I really liked it and I do not planning on changing for a long time. What biobizz products are you using? I used topmax, grow and bloom, and swapped in liquid karma, sub-culture from GH, and Porhana. Also used Fox Farm big bloom and beastie bloom with hygrozyme in Fox farm ocean blend with coco coir.


WHAT IS PETROL BROTHER??

I was told this was ecsd, has a very similar growyj structure to you

first time using biobizz with compost so imma reserve judgement till the smoke taste , plants seem to look healthy though. all i m using is bloom and grow , with some epsom salts for Mg supplement ( basically copying OT1 s methods , described on a different canna board , pm me if you d like a link) .
used GH BioMicro to innoculate the compost , think this GH Europes equivalent to subculture , great stuff for the roots!

petrol is a reservoir seeds release , ecsd bx1.5 x ecsd bx1.5 .

ecsd 1.5 bx = ecsd clone x (ecsd x soma nycd)

here s the bonsai mums , ready to start supplying some clones . the LUI and one of the straw diesels are auto flowering though, sods law its the better pheno of straw diesel we kept .

chopped down this straw diesel , still got another one of this pheno at same stage , this small one had to come down though, needs must!! :wink:
smells fuely and fruity , with plenty of resin.

Hey Razor,
Lookin' good mate! Pity bout the Strawberry Deez autoflowering on ya. Were they from the first release? I had one the started throwing out a few more pre-flowers than usual in veg (18/6), but it only seemed to do it just after cloning it, and soon grew out of it. And it was the most Strawberry dominant of the bunch. I remember reading that KK's Strawberry Cough throws out a few more pre-flowers than norm, so I'm thinking this is where it comes from.
How's the smell on the Petrol bro? Much different from any of Rez' other Sour deez? I gotta pack still in the fridge. Might have to bump 'em up the list abit after seeing yours dude. Keep up the great work, and have a great '07.
PS. I haven't forgotten 'bout sending those f2s to ya, just haven't been able to dig 'em outta storage yet. Been abit unorganised since packin' up the "Testing Ground". But thing are gettin' back to normal now, so I'll do it soon bro. Sorry.

Nice pics BTW, that Sour Mist looks great, and the Cherry Hash Plant even better. Wish I hadda got to try the CHP, if the Hammered Cherries were anything to go by, it woulda been outta this world! Let's hope Lone can get back to doing what he loves.

Hey Tim, how goes it mate ? hope this years a good one for ya.
yeh , these Straw/Ds are from first release (end of 05, 12 pks) and have shown pre flowers in veg (24/0) since three weeks from seed , whilst the petrol only shows after 7-14 days 12/12, the V3s we ran were pretty much the same, only showed when flowered . the clones we re attempting to bonsai are 2 nd or 3 rd gen , seed plants were started 9 months ago approx . noticed what you say, after cloning the previous gens it looked like auto-ing , but they d grow out fine. this gen though, trichs , stretch and singles and 3 fingered leaves . was wondering if it was something we d done wrong, stressed it somehow , but it s been treated exactly the same as the petrol and sour mist clones which show no signs of auto-ing .
an older , far more experienced grower than me also tells me it s in the genes , so not a lot a could v e done to keep her happy vegging . what gen are your Straw Diesel mums mate and what light are they receiving ?


this petrol girl we kept tastes fuely with a lemon background , has more indica shaped leaves than any the v3s we got( only previous experience with any diesel) , and clones also seem more vigorous in veg than the v3s. still has the same stretch when flowered . this one also smells more skunky than any our v3s , it s quite an offensive danky odour, which is good !!
good males in there as well timmy, if i had the room , there was a real stand out stud in the petrols, he absolutely stank as well!!

Yeah my Strawberry Deez are from the first release too, and I keep 'em under 18/6 light schedule. Like I said before, I think the pre-flowers come from the Strawberry Cough, not the Sour Deez. Like you, I've given the v3s a few runs, and had pretty much the same experience as you.

Glad to hear the petrol is more skunky, and stinky than the v3s, cos that's just what I'm after, also got a couple of packs of Rez' Basic Diesel too, so hopefully there should be some REAL skunky plants in that bunch! Especially males, I need some more good males to play around with.

yeh i read you mention 18/6 bro, was wonderin if you used fluoros or hid for your mums .
it s a pity bout the auto, aint seen any nannas , so would ve kept her around , very frosty.
that aint my team that got its arse kicked mate, that was England and Wales. we have a cricket team, but no where near test standard. sure i read your an acdc fan , they originally hail from my neck of the woods :wink: , aint you seen the footage off em all on stage wearing the 1978 world cup tops . any time england play , we always support the opposition, its tradition!

I use a combo of 400w MH and HPS for my mums and vegging if that's any help.
It is a pity 'bout the autos though, but I didn't think you'd see any nanas, I think that might have just been a rumour to try and discredit Rez.
