This is one of my cats. His name is Flippy, he is our most expensive cat for the reason that he has under-gone a $1,500 operation to fix a broken hip/leg. Yes, I still say it was worth it as I did not have the heart to put him down...Just look how cute he is.

Flippy is a VERY fine looking fellow. His fur looks so silky and soft.

And I fully understand about the costs. My Gato had cancer of the spleen, and I took him to just about every specialist in the state - including the UC Davis vet school. But he didn't make it. I won't say what THAT cost me.

This is Gato. He was a purebred Maine Coon with more papers and heritage than a Kennedy.

Here he is with Wendell - doing what he did best - love everybody.

Here's Wendell. He's 19 years old, and still going strong chasing Angel all over the house, and being chased by Angel too.

And here's Angel. He is too. Anybody who walks in the house is instantly his best friend.

So there's my contribution to this thread. I hope another contest is done sometime. Not that I will win, but I love to see all the great looking pictures, often mixed in a grow with our favorite hobby.
