it's all a collective here my dude, there's some secrets but basically those little dum secrets are things like your soil, it's your preference, like my nutes. Na, thays just that one like my Cinderella is a fruit punch phenotype.
There's genetics with plants like your double helix,
But there's only 20 in plants so each pair give the plant a different trait, so if there's a male and female plant, and they each have 20 different genetic markers, they can mismatch many ways, and you won't get say banana out of everyone, maybe 20%

So tell me. I got lucky and created my seeds which I am growing at the moment. I stressed a female Runtz Layer Cake into a male and then pollinated with La Amnesia and with a Holly Grail Kush. So how many seeds I need to grow in order to find interesting pheno? I got only 5 Amnesia Cake and 4 Holly Cake and one of the Holly is stinking like freaking Garlic Naan bread

Here's the deal, you have to keep the mothers and or flower and reveg to find the certain traits you like, as in thick buds terms smell taste etc, this isn't an exact science for me, it's more about hunting and getting lucky on our level.
If u like those specific strains you would do something like you already did.
Take 2 clones herm one out and pollinate to make a more stable breed, but remember, there's 40 different traits your putting together, but it will only accept 20. (We can speak on di tri and quad later if u want wich is genetic mutations selected and bred wich makes them 90% sterile)
So like there's a blue eye gene a green eye gene a brown eye Gene and say 3 yellow eyed genes, across both, mom has one blue one brown and two yellow, father has the rest, u want yellow, the chances are really good in this situation but it wont garrentee it
The more of one gene you have to breed with the other can make it more stable, but it's a probability not a garrentee. At a certain number 1 becomes a garrentee but like. I prolly wont see my c99 fruit punch seeds for a few generations, even if I find the fruit punch pheno, I could breed it and loose it bc the genetics are weaker than it's breeding partner.

I can't tell you bc idk what their lineages are, you could have gorrilla glue but what's it's parents? Who knows unless you do, ppl lie about everything, this business is very shady

So if I get this right, plants have 20 amino acids? And if I understand well is that each strain or plant is a porter of 20 different characteristics?
Also as you mentioned eyes, well there is recessivity involved and as i am sure you know blue eyes like myself is an anomaly and brown/black eyes is dominant. Do we have the same in the Marijuana realm, where maybe one gene is dominant over the other when the genetic brassage happens? Like lets say haze takes over kush or vice versa? Or pink/ red hairs are recessive and orange hair dominant?

Anyways i really enjoy our conversations, eventhough i am a bit old, i feel like a junior magician being mentored by Gandalf lmao

Not sure if you are referring to the parents of my created seeds? All i can say is that I got the Holly Grail Kush from DNA genetics , the Runtz layer cake was Barney’s and the La Amnesia was from Paradise seeds

Well if yesterday was sunny today it is like freaking hardcore polar climate!!! Crazy yesterday was Spring and today Winter

Anyways super freaked out with my mini cheap dirt greenhouses…my Rhubarbs are taking off

A Runtz and Beaver Cookie popped out of soil so now I have 26 plants in total

Hiya Farmers,

Time for a bit of talk about the « Cakes »

I wanted to see how they grow under different techniques, so I LST a few, topped 2 (5th internode) and let some to grow naturally

The Holy Cake is a cross between a Holly Grail Kush (DNA genetics) which I crossed with a Runtz Layer Cake (Barney’s)

I have only planted 4 and so not very reliable info. So it seems i have 2 pheno, one small and chunky and one more stretched. They seem to lean towards strong indica with broad leaves. Good side branching, with shot internodes, seems to love being fed. The tallest has a very distinctive garlic bread or Indian Naan, the rest are still odorless.

The Amnesia Cake is a cross I made with LA Amnesia (from Chong and Paradise seeds) and Runtz Layer Cake from Barney’s.

I planted only 5 so not very reliable info. They lean towards indica with very broad leaves, medium green emerald color. I have 2 phenos, one is a very large and the other is chunky small (same as Holy). They are larger than the Holy Cakes, but have no smell yet. Small internode spacing. Heavy side branching. Seems to love being LSTed.
