very killer...
very killer...
you are kicking ass with that setup. i was thinking of something very similar in DWC or a million other implementations... all organic soil bed is very nice, smoke must be awesome.
i just have one suggestion... something borrowed from hydroponics, and that is air injection to the roots zone. its something i am experimenting with now. im using a variety of airstones in various buckets. budget is tight right now or id go out and buy ten more pumps (or one really big one). my "Butter" plant has a single dual-output aquarium pump driving twin airstones under about 3-4" of aquarium gravel, then soil is 50/50 perlite/potting soil. im using chemo nutes, miracle grow tomato in veg and big bloom in flower. i had ambitions for organics but dont have the budget right now. anyways, the air injection REALLY seems to make a big difference. it also makes it difficult to overwater a soil bed. all my buckets are sealed at the bottom. here is the side view of butter from yesterday. shes at least 2" taller today:
(shes an LST motherbush, have yet to take a single clone from her yet)
edit! here is Butter yesterday (sorry the light looks so different):
and here she is today you can see the 1-day growth, plus i tied down the main stem tip again
